    On 8 February 2021, I submitted a complaint to Lewis Nedas Law. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the work conducted by the firm, primarily their failure to request crucial evidence in my case. I noted that exhibit AKM/1 was mentioned in the witness statement of Police Officer 1. I was unhappy with the response provided by Lewis Nedas law on 23 April 2021 so brought the complaint to the Legal Ombudsman. As a remedy for my complaint, I requested that the firm undertake additional work at no cost to me and secure a court order to obtain the unredacted body-worn camera footage from the officers present on the day of the incident. I believe this footage will demonstrate my innocence. However, the firm was unwilling to carry out any additional work. 28 October 2022 The legal ombudsman final decision: My final decision is that I find there has been poor service that does require a remedy. I direct the firm to make a payment of £750 to Mr Ismail in recognition of the distress and inconvenience caused. I did not accept the remedy, which meant that Lewis Nedas Law was not required to compensate me. However, the final decision acknowledged the poor service I received and noted the distress and inconvenience caused by Lewis Nedas Law, which I found to be accurate.
