We had a dispute over a border with our neighbours. Birkett Long took the case but it was passed to several staff, the communication with the person handling the case was extremely poor, they were not well informed of the facts and were poorly prepared, they were almost impossible to get a hold of, the final resolution was delayed and things are still not completely resolved because of the delays experienced. It was an extremely negetive experience. Eventually we made a formal complaint and finally a more professional person took over and actually responded to us and we were able to finalise the case.

Experience with dealing with Tej was informative from the start and a level of professionalism that I had not experience from a law firm before. without just feeling like another case and another number for the firm wanting to just take the argument for the money, I was rightly informed from the go and not sold a dream of what the outcome would be with this person on my side. (which is a quality I haven't experienced in a solicitor before). on the day the professionalism and personal touch was above and beyond. Conducted seamlessly in the court room and advice after the day was superb. Hands down the best approachable and proactive firm I've have ever had to deal with. (have dealt with multiple firms and over £300k of solicitor bills in the last 10 years) I can say that, I will not be looking anywhere else for my advice in the future. 10/10

I thought the solicitor was responsive and quick to act. she explained things well. However, I was concerned that the initial letter to my employer was not run past me for tone and contents. There were a couple of errors in the letter which I would have corrected and in addition, I would not have allowed it to take such a confrontational tone. I believe that both the tone of the letter and inaccuracies put my employer into a defensive position resulting in me not getting the payout which was being asked for. I believe it also caused me considerable anxiety in the process. I would have expected much better negotiating skills and techniques.

This was an exceptionally difficult case with an issue that is seen in conveyancing rarely. It was hampered somewhat by a number of staff changes during the transaction ( through no fault of the firm), but brought to a satisfactory conclusion by Devika .

Faultless and wonderfully human experience from an amazing firm of solicitors. They were also instrumental in chivvying along the other solicitors in the chain, going above and beyond. Amazing, simple amazing. It was always a joy speaking with them.

Incredibly knowledgeable, took the time to explain every stage of my process so I was fully informed before I made any decisions. Always communicated back when they say they would I cant praise them enough as they helped me when I was desperate. Also Alex, who is new to this role will be a future asset to this team, he was polite, patient and worked hard to achieve a positive outcome in such dire circumstances. Brilliant team.
