Our son has learning difficulties, and once his case was taken up by Clare Galo, she was amazing throughout. Clare met with him so he could give his explanation to her, and she was very thoughtful and understanding throughout. She took him step by step through the process patiently and clearly by using language and methods of explanation to ensure his understanding. She then followed up with a detailed letter summing up the conversation and the possible outcomes at the trial – she was very honest with her summary. Clare also arranged for a court intermediary assessment, so he had an intermediary with him at the trial to explain what was happening and assist him if he did not understand any questions. At his trial she was outstanding, especially when something unexpected occurred at the start of the session. Clare was so professional throughout and put his case to the magistrates exceptionally well. The outcome was the best we could have hoped for given the situation. We are all very grateful to her and highly recommend her.
