Fast and very very good service Understands things well and quickly
I’ve had mixed experiences with Blacks Solicitors LLP in the past, so I think it’s important to call out when things are done well. On this occasion, Lauren Grey has been excellent — proactive, efficient and very solutions-oriented. She kept things moving, communicated clearly throughout and focused on getting matters resolved rather than overcomplicating them. This was a noticeably better experience than I’ve had previously, and that is wholly down to Lauren’s approach.
Excellent service and costumer service. Handled and Completed my claim well with no complications. I am very pleased I chose Blacks Solicitors.

My experience with Blacks Solicitors has been incredibly upsetting and I feel completely let down. I’ve been left with unexpected and unexplained charges that were never agreed upon, vague explanations about the work done and a complete lack of transparency. I was told that any additional work would be discussed with me beforehand, but that didn’t happen. Instead, I found out after the fact and have been charged for things I didn’t approve or request. To make matters worse, the meetings were so poorly organised that I had to send several emails just to confirm basic arrangements. At one point, a trainee was sent to a call without my knowledge or approval, and I was charged for their time. This left me feeling completely disrespected as a client. I’ve raised these issues with the firm and lodged a formal complaint, but the responses I’ve received so far have been dismissive and lacking any real accountability. The whole experience has been draining, stressful, and honestly, it feels like I’m being scammed. Avoid avoid if you require billing transparency!
We have been using Backs Solicitors for few years now and our case handlers have changed but recently on our purchases and remortgages we had Lauren Grey as our case handler. Lauren has been very helpful and always prompt when it came to communication regarding our cases. Even when the cases have been complicated Lauren has done her best in order to resolve any issues. We highly recommend Lauren Grey
