I would highly recommend Sharon and her team for their professionalism, compassion and dedication throughout my divorce, financial remedy and child arrangements case. It was a very long and challenging journey, beginning in mid-2024, and the proceedings were extremely demanding both emotionally and financially, involving a significant six-figure sum in legal costs. Throughout this time, several trainee solicitors were involved in my case at different stages. “I would like to give particular thanks to Abbie Manwaring, who was consistently professional, polite, approachable and easy to talk to. She was patient, understanding and supportive throughout, and I always felt comfortable speaking with her I also had the opportunity to speak with Ewa, another solicitor within Sharon’s team, from time to time. After seeing another solicitor, I won’t mention names things looked a bit bleak for me . I then got recommended to Sharon and within two minutes of speaking wow the difference was clear . I was having a tricky divorce on top of false allegations and my parental rights trying to be stripped so my kids future could be determined by the mother only. Straight away Sharon knew exactly what legal step to take . She was also made aware that my financial situation wasn’t great so helped to find the best solution what was great help and not just an open quote for each steps taken if your unfortunate to be in a similar position to me trust me, you want this lady in your corner ! . My only quip or recommendation would be the secretary was not always the same and when searching emails the persons name is put first then the business name. I have an aol email and this caused slight issues I give an example below this comment maybe parfittcresswell should be first then the name of the person as I missed a few emails. My original solicitor left the firm mid case. I was handed over to Sharon. The first thing she did was send me a bill for a meeting we hadn’t had. Impossible to get hold of and when I finally did she was incredibly dismissive of me.

I regret appointing Parfitt Cresswell and wish I had used an online service instead. It would have been cheaper and I don’t feel they added any value despite the huge cost. Getting divorced was incredibly stressful and difficult and my solicitor made errors on my paperwork, was away on holiday at crucial moments without adequate cover and didn’t actually provide any helpful advice. They asked unnecessary questions which seemed like they were just running up the costs but refused to provide the advice I actually needed. They then sent long emails just to cover themselves which were not asked for or needed that I had to pay them for writing. The invoicing also wasn’t transparent, I wasn’t provided with itemised invoices. Would not recommend.

Eve Geere was appointed to deal with my divorce but, contrary to the suggestion of a sympathetic approach, she was very aggressive with the other side. Unfortunately, this antagonism was wholly unnecessary and ultimately led to a lengthy and expensive divorce on both sides. Would not recommend.
