We went for advice about an existing LPA. After an initial telephone conversation we arranged a meeting. Unfortunately the person we thought we were meeting was unavailable. We still do not know why. The person we ended up meeting was completely unprepared. The meeting was a complete waste of time. Subsequent interactions were similarly very poor as was the quality of Tadvice we received. Overall we found it an expensive waste of time and I would suggest try any other firm rather than Tees.

Tees were very professional and efficient, they listened to me and gave excellent advice. After an initial meeting the rest was done by either email or post, there IT was excellent and enabled me to review and sign some documents online. My aunts estate was dealt with smoothly and efficiently, and Tees helped me deal with all aspects of this to a satisfactory conclusion.

Tees Law were engaged to make a Trust Deed for my parents a few years back before they died. It turned out to be an unmitigated disaster because when the time came to unwind the trust after the last parent died, Tees Law had 'forgotten' to retire the partners of the firm when they left. Consequently, we were completely stuck for about 18 months while they said they were trying to find 20 of them to get them to sign off on it. Of course they didn't tell us the truth for a year and there were so many excuses as to why we couldn't unwind the Trust and a lot of obfuscation - no one cared and certainly did not take the situation seriously and mucked us around interminably. I would never recommend them in a million years. It was a horrible experience that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. Zero stars.

Put simply, we couldn't have done it without Alex. She kept proceedings on track and applied consistent pressure to the Local Authority, consulting us at each step and giving a considered view of our best approach. She shared great knowledge of schools we could consider and worked seamlessly with our expert witnesses to build a firm case. From our very first meeting with Alex, my wife and I felt heard and cared for during our case to overturn the local authority's refusal to name our preferred secondary school setting in our daughter's EHCP. Alex advised us expertly and recommended first-class OT and S&L professionals to support our case. She worked collaboratively with us and the professionals, including our EP, as a team. Whilst the prospect of going to a tribunal was daunting, we felt in good hands from start to finish. Our case was so strong that we managed to settle two days before heading into the tribunal, which was a huge relief.
