Free Legals fiasco
The support we received from Emily and the team in swift time enabled us to complete with no reversion rate overlap. Initially proceeding with Free Legals option with our new lender, we found that as their solicitor only provided an online service, our need for face to face service satisfying AML security covenants could never be fulfilled. We found RFB near to us and will look to use them again in the future. Timely updates and great communication helped everything go smoothly.

Emily Maskrey recently dealt with our remortgage and did a stellar job.
She had the unenviable task of dealing with help-to-buy and our local management company. Still, the transaction was completed as smoothly as possible, thanks to Emily's relentless work ethic and superb communication. Highly recommend Anna Seifert-Craggs
I can't thank Anna enough, she kept me informed throughout the process, I had a hiccup as the vendor changed her purchase into the process, I needed to compete my Mortgage by 31st July had this not happened I may well have had to re-apply, which as an older purchaser would have reduced the term.
Not only did Anna complete before the end of July, she
actually completed on 4th
July!!!
The relief was just amazing, Anna had informed me three weeks prior to completion that
She aimed for this date and did this to her credit!
My thanks to Anna her commitment will stay with me forever!

Kate undertook the legal work required to obtain freeholder approval for a Deed of Variation on the existing lease. As with all legal processes there were several parties involved who needed to supply agreement. Kate managed to obtain the final signed document with a couple of months.

We went with RFB on the advice of our mortgage advisor (Zoe Anderson from the Mortgage Quarter - also outstanding). Peter Smith did our conveyancing for us on our first home and we really couldn't recommend him enough. He met us face to face initially to chat things through, provided us with any information we needed and was really quick to respond to any emails/queries, if there was anything we were unsure about. The whole process was very smooth. Pete was really on it throughout and made the whole thing so easy for us, taking care of everything patiently but also applying pressure when needed to get things moving and showing initiative with different things we didn’t pick up on. We didn’t have to pester, or even ask twice for anything and Pete made the whole process a breeze. Katharine Whittingham is also helping us sort a declaration of trust and we have had the exact same experience with her. Honestly 5 star service, highly recommended.

I was fortunate to have Emily Maskrey handle the legal aspects of purchasing our new home and managing a simultaneous Let to Buy. I sought legal advice from Harry Medway as I was selling a property which was rented out at the time. I found Harry very pushy and unprofessional, I did not sign a contract or pay any fees as I was not ready for work to commence, but he took it upon himself to carry out work and then charged me £750 plus VAT, I saw no paperwork to prove any work was carried out and as the company held my property funds once the sale went through, I was forced to pay the fees as I was unable to have my funds until this was agreed. This added more stress to an already stressful time. I would not recommend RFB.

Honestly, I cannot thank the team enough. A special mention to Teresa Brady - Who can only be described as the savour of the whole transaction.
