Best solicitor experience

Saranya Slater was assigned to my case in selling my property, it was a complex case and I have never experienced such thorough communication throughout what can be a stressful time. Saranya was incredibly attentive and professional throughout the end to end process. Saranya’s communication has been second to none and I highly recommend her services without a second thought! Will no doubt utilise Saranya wherever possible going forward.

Thank you Saranya!

First time buyer

I have only good things to say about working with Mark. I completed in under 3 months which was my goal. He was always contactable and very prompt at replying to all communication. This is my first time ever buying a property but mark was available to explain everything I didn’t understand and worked with me on a number of issues.
Wouldn’t hesitate to use his services again.

Couldn’t recommend Sera more

Sera was such a pleasure to deal with! This was not my first time using RFB but it was my first time working with Sera and I could not recommend her any more. She kept us updated throughout, and really helped push our sale through. It was quite a lengthy and more complicated process due to the fact the building was still undergoing works to fix the cladding but I never felt this was an issue for her and I really believe with another solicitor the sale may have fallen through or taken much longer.

Sera was super friendly, clearly very knowledgeable and gave great advice when it came to making any decisions. I felt she was in my corner and helped me to push back on a few things that came up in the sale. She made everything easy to understand and explained every step (having never sold a property this was great help).

When Sera went on holiday Grace covered our case, and she was also really responsive on emails and super efficient- she had clearly been briefed on the file and knew to expect certain things in the time she was covering so this was great as it meant nothing delayed progress.

I was also happy with the price we paid, it was very reasonable given the service we received and I’d absolutely recommend Sera and RFB to anyone. In fact I raved about them so much that my mum has since used RFB to sell a property and I know she is also really impressed.

Thank you so much Sera!

A client

The Property Litigation Team at Ronald Fletcher Baker handled a sensitive case on my behalf in a highly professional and timely manner. The case related to a landlord and tenant dispute (in which I was the landlord). The case was not straightforward and they adopted a collaborative approach.

David Burns went above and beyond to ensure I received a winning outcome. I would recommend Ronald Fletcher Baker without hesitation. Their attention to detail, in-depth knowledge and considerable experience place them as leaders in their field.

The team left it to the last week before my mortgage offer expired to try and get a completion sorted after I had chased Tom for several months warning of this to happen. Was in that stage also passed on to two colleagues, one a trainee who wasn’t able to update me before talking to a superior, and a partner, Samantha, who only realised the day of the set exchange that she didn’t check the seller had submitted all docs and we can’t actually exchange. Didn’t even acknowledge that and only told me in the afternoon of the planned exchange day that there is an issue and then left for the day. Absolutely not sure what I paid more than £2k for.

I was recommended RFB through a family friend to provide conveyancing services as a first time buyer. RFB were very efficient and were ready to exchange within 2 months. Unfortunately the sale took an extra 3 months to exchange and complete due to multiple mistakes and missed deadlines with the sellers solicitors, due to absolutely no fault of RFB. This is where RFB really stood out to me as they persevered with the transaction, answered all my questions and were really responsive they also put pressure on the seller’s solicitors to move things along quickly and kept me regularly updated. I valued having a knowledgable and fast acting firm like RFB to manage the process when unfortunately it was clear the sellers solicitors were very inexperienced. Thanks Laura, Afsheen and Samantha for all helping at different points throughout!

We used RFB to buy our first home. Melody Wan was attentive, very quick to respond, and explained things to us thoroughly and patiently (a godsend for two FTBs). A big thank you to her for helping us secure our first property.

Instructed Beth for a family settlement case, poor work ethic, cost driven solicitor. I would suggest to look carefully what they put down in the customer care letter. And make sure to agree on a price cap to avoid surprising invoices at termination.
