I have used Star Legal a few times before. I got 2 quotes from other solicitors but decided not to take chances or cut corners. I was very pleased with the service from Star Legal, Bradley Stoke. Tristan was very helpful and did his very best to help me when I enquired about a deed of assignment. He was a pleasure to deal with and I would definitely recommend him to other people.
Rang these solicitors twice regarding review and update of wills over a month ago. Was promised a call back on each occasion (all contact details given) and not heard a thing. Not able to recommend and very poor customer service based on this non response. Shame as I prefer to support local businesses.

As kinship carers with no experience or understanding of the way the family courts operated we felt lost and frightened. It frightened and confused us seeing the local authority failing to put the welfare of the children first. Jane Swancott of Star Legal gave us insight and guidance to navigate proceedings. The knowledge, experience, honestly and frankness of Jane and Star Legal was invaluable, even when the local authorities actions appeared, to us, to be unlawful Jane kept us on a navigable course. We and our grandchildren's welfare has been secured by the team and despite the complications Star Legal have been fair to us. No amount of money can express our gratitude.

I can’t recommend star legal Tiverton enough! Richard and Helle were amazing to deal with throughout the process of our new house purchase. This was not a normal house purchase with lots of time on our hands, this was an auction purchase with an extremely tight turn around time (with non negotiable completion date) at a very busy period for the property market (June 2021). Richard and Helle kept us updated throughout and took away the stresses, going above and beyond to ensure we completed on time to meet our auction terms. Richard is extremely knowledgeable and explains everything clearly, he was able to keep our confidence throughout the process, despite some hurdles along the way out of his control! We are very happy we used Star Legal Tiverton and wouldn’t want to use anywhere else in the future.
Sims Cook & Teague were brilliant, but since being taken over by Star they are awful. Poor communication & showed no interest in my elderly mum's house sale.
Difficult to see if these Guys are really interested. Been using them 2018, and the service seems to be going down hill rapidly
