    Amazing service!

    I hired the service of Tees to complete the process of selling and purchasing property. Having had to deal with other firms in the past, I am very glad we went for Tees this time. Communication with the team working in our transaction was continuous and clear, both through email or via calls if necessary. In particular, we are very happy with the work done by Jo. Thanks to her perseverance, some very annoying details affecting our sale were unblocked, not to mention her patience to deal with all the parties involved, as well as being able to answer to every question we had in a comprehensive manner; we are certain that thanks to her we were able to move into our new home by the deadline we had in place. I will most certainly use Tees services again in the future and I highly recommend them.

    Looking for a Conveyancer? Stay well clear of Tees, Bishops Stortford! We had two major issues: the first was that our Completion Date was changed and we were not informed. Four years later it came to light that Tees had not registered our property correctly. On both occasions we complained and both issue were due to their very poor processes. The first was that they did not check with the sellers solicitors to ensure that our proposed Completion Date had been accepted. Their response to our second complaint about the registration was, apparently, our fault because we had missed a question on a form (obviously Tees process does not include checking forms). We have now to go down the route of Declarations of Trust to correct things. House purchasing is complicated and stressful enough for a lay-person so you reply on your solicitor to work with you. Sadly, you can't rely on Tees!

      We had never been in this situation before and I rang Tees on very short notice for advice. Ruth was very legally clear and exceptionally efficient which put us on ease.       I felt at ease straight away with Hannah Byatt. The case I brought to her, was something I never even knew even existed in Law. As my X wife and her solicitor at the time of our divorce nearly 10 years ago, seem to have kept to themselves, paperwork that a financial settlement had to be done, which I new nothing about. I had already paid her a substantial amount at time of our divorce, and I was glad at least this was recorded. So when I spoke to Hannah for first time she was very professional and put me at ease. I had just been made redundant and I was also going through Cancer treatment as well, which was making me quite poorly, but she was very caring in her approach. Although things are very slow going this is mainly due to my X wife’s solicitors, Hannah has always kept me updated, and has great Knowledge when it comes to my particular case. The advice she has given me, has always been easy to understand, and her friendly manor has been very much appreciated, especially when I couldn’t make appointments due to ill health, she dealt with my wife instead. All in all Hannah has been very supportive, and I can’t wait for our case to be finally over, as it has caused my wife and myself a lot of stress. But I would definitely recommend Tees Solicitors to family and friends in the future.
