Our firm dates back to the late nineteenth century when Raymond Trotter established a Solicitors Practice in Epping. Thomas Chapman joined in the 1920s, and Herbert Whisker in the 1940s. Trotter Chapman & Whisker practised under that name for the next five decades. This is the second time we have used Lucas to help with our new commercial lease, fantastic service, very approachable, knowledgeable and efficient. Brilliant that he remember are previous appointment and remembered all the details, which meant we didn't have to lose any time going over everything again. Exceptional care and patience taken to make sure I understood all the nitty gritty details, explaining things more than once when needed - this was really appreciated. Very hard to find in there new premises went to sort a problem that was supposed to have been sorted 8 years ago when my sister and I sold our fathers home

Pretty poor. We didn’t instruct but they did deal with our onwards purchase and Helen was basically never really there. What should have taken just a couple of months to complete ended up taking 7 months. Would never use them for conveyancing
The team were excellent at sorting my property sale and purchase. Highly recommend.

I initially contacted Whiskers to assist with the sale of my mother’s house, as she had moved into a care home and the fees needed to be covered. Sadly, my mother passed away before the sale was completed, so I then instructed them to help obtain a grant of probate for the family estate. I cannot thank Amy Hodgson at the Epping office enough for her guidance—she was both professional and compassionate throughout. The grant of probate was secured in around five weeks, allowing us to proceed with the sale. I would also like to thank Johanna Withams at the Bishop’s Stortford office for her work on the house sale. She was thoroughly professional while remaining mindful of the family’s circumstances. Overall, my family and I received a five-star service, which we would highly recommend.
