Our firm dates back to the late nineteenth century when Raymond Trotter established a Solicitors Practice in Epping. Thomas Chapman joined in the 1920s, and Herbert Whisker in the 1940s. Trotter Chapman & Whisker practised under that name for the next five decades. By the 1990s the firm was known as Whiskers and in May 2008 the partnership of Whiskers Solicitors was incorporated under the style Whiskers LLP.

Whiskers LLP Solicitors and Notaries in Epping, Essex is always our family go to for advice and legal matters. I cannot thank Maymunah enough. I was in the sad and emotional position of having to sell my mothers home of 68 years due to my mother moving into a care home. I had never been through this process before but Maymunah held my hand throughout the entire process. At all times she was professional, knowledgeable, kept me informed and updated very quickly but Maymunah also showed empathy and understanding in how emotional this process was for me. I never felt like just a number or nameless person at the end of a email, which is rare to find these days and was greatly appreciated. Maymunah is a wonderful ambassador for Whiskers and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I initially contacted Whiskers to assist with the sale of my mother’s house, as she had moved into a care home and the fees needed to be covered. Sadly, my mother passed away before the sale was completed, so I then instructed them to help obtain a grant of probate for the family estate. I cannot thank Amy Hodgson at the Epping office enough for her guidance—she was both professional and compassionate throughout. The grant of probate was secured in around five weeks, allowing us to proceed with the sale. I would also like to thank Johanna Withams at the Bishop’s Stortford office for her work on the house sale. She was thoroughly professional while remaining mindful of the family’s circumstances. Overall, my family and I received a five-star service, which we would highly recommend.

Andrew represented me in court. I was looking at time away almost 100% guaranteed. I packed a bag expecting the worst. Andrew worked hard to put a compelling case in my defense and was able to walk out the front door of court. He was very professional and his advice and his services was worth every penny paid. I have been working with shalini for just over 3 years now and can confidently say she is definitely the voice of reason for me wouldn’t have got the outcome I did without her help I definitely wasn’t the easiest client but shal never gave up on me and got me to where I am she always kept me well informed was easy to get ahold of trust worthy and reliable would highly recommend herself and whisker’s solicitor
