    Calming and clear advice in difficult times

    Joshua and his team were an invaluable support during the stressful time of divorce. From the first contact to the completion of the process, I felt understood and supported.     I felt at ease straight away with Hannah Byatt. The case I brought to her, was something I never even knew even existed in Law. As my X wife and her solicitor at the time of our divorce nearly 10 years ago, seem to have kept to themselves, paperwork that a financial settlement had to be done, which I new nothing about. I had already paid her a substantial amount at time of our divorce, and I was glad at least this was recorded. So when I spoke to Hannah for first time she was very professional and put me at ease. I had just been made redundant and I was also going through Cancer treatment as well, which was making me quite poorly, but she was very caring in her approach. Although things are very slow going this is mainly due to my X wife’s solicitors, Hannah has always kept me updated, and has great Knowledge when it comes to my particular case. The advice she has given me, has always been easy to understand, and her friendly manor has been very much appreciated, especially when I couldn’t make appointments due to ill health, she dealt with my wife instead. All in all Hannah has been very supportive, and I can’t wait for our case to be finally over, as it has caused my wife and myself a lot of stress. But I would definitely recommend Tees Solicitors to family and friends in the future.

Without the legal expertise, availability, care, kindness, clarity, support and true professionalism of James Scarborough and his team, I am not sure how I would have managed.     I was extremely let down by the Tees Law Family team with my divorce. After my first hearing, I was so disappointed by the way my family matter was handled with poor representation in court and significant omissions and discrepancies between my position statement and what was presented in court. Despite being billed extortionately high fees each month, I was given a very poor service. Because this has led to significant delays in my family matter, I have had to instruct another solicitor at this crucial stage of my divorce. I would not recommend instructing Tees for any divorce case, let alone a high net worth one. This firm is all about the billing with no focus on you as a client or on your case.
