I contacted Martin tolhust and I was referred to Giles for some legal advice regarding a purchase made online and a seller refusing to refund me after 3 months. Giles was excellent during the whole process in which he provided excellent advice on the matter which in the end resulted in me receiving my money back

Appalling. Mis-information. Poor service. Extreme lack of urgency, especially as we had a specific deadline. Their actions, or rather lack of action cost me an additional £500. My advice? Go elsewhere.

It would be less than one star. They work in cahoots with Wards and abuse this relationship. They are untrustworthy and don’t treat their clients fairly. I started my home buying journey in January and I have no end in sight. I was recommended by my estate agents and this is so they can use this to their own advantage and treat you very badly.

Not impressed with the service!! Our previous solicitors we could phone & always speak direct to the actual solicitors (Not a secretary), with this company was very difficult to get through to our solicitor and when we did speak to her it was a negative vibe, it felt like we were pestering them everytime we spoke to her & she wanted to end the call as soon as possible

I can only give praise of the highest order for Jessica’s professional conduct when dealing with my case which should be expected but what must be identified, is the level of sincerity and in turn, comfort and hope that one is endeared by. We purchased a property and used Martin Tolhurst 3 years ago and had a terrible experience so was very reluctant to use this time round but very glad we did. Our solicitor Cally and her assistant Richard was absolutely amazing, any questions or emails were answered by Cally when in office and when out Richard was always on hand to answer questions especially towards the end Richard was amazing chasing our buyers solicitors and keeping us up to date. Thank you for making the selling and buying process less stressful!
