Good outcome after being charged with being in control of a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs

I had a good experience from the start. Nearly 6 months after being arrested I received a letter in the post being charged with being in control of a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs. I rang Forbes who assisted me straight away and applied for legal aid. Bradley and Gareth assisted in my case and they were both very professional and helpful throughout. They listened to my circumstances and relayed this in court which helped me get the best out come possible. I received a small fine and 10 points which means I get to keep my license. Thank you.

I honestly cannot thank Lisa enough for all of her help and support throughout my road traffic accident claim. From the very beginning, Lisa has been incredibly responsive, approachable and professional. Over the many months she has dealt with my claim, there has never been a time where I have struggled to get through to her or been left waiting for answers. Whenever I have had any questions or concerns, she has always been easy to contact and has taken the time to respond and reassure me. I am dyslexic and dyspraxic, which can sometimes make understanding legal information and processes quite overwhelming. Lisa has gone above and beyond to make sure I have fully understood everything. She has never made me feel like I was asking too many questions and has happily explained things to me over and over again, breaking everything down into simple, basic terms whenever I needed it. She has been extremely patient, understanding throughout the whole process. Dealing with a claim after an accident can be stressful, but having Lisa handling everything made the process so much easier for me. Her communication and support have been absolutely outstanding, and I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending her to anyone. Thank you so much, Lisa, for everything you have done for me. Your kindness, patience and dedication have genuinely been appreciated more than you know.

John Lambe acted for me in resolving a dispute with my late Father's estate. He took the time to understand the circumstances under which my Father signed the Will. At all times he was friendly, supportive and pragmatic. He has a vast knowledge of contentious probate, access to an exceptional Barrister, and together they were able to help me understand the complexities of the laws relating to my case. Navigating through such a difficult time was made much easier by having John in my corner. The right result was achieved and I would whole heartedly recommend Forbes to anyone in the position of having to contest a Will.

Disgrace of a firm, these solicitors where chosen to act on behalf of together housing association in regards to selling my share of my shared ownership property, essentially just the middle man from my buyers solicitors and my solicitor. Whole process took 5 months because response times where nothing short of a disgrace. Case handler Claire wouldn’t speak to me because I wasn’t the client even tho I was having to pay the final bill so surely I am the client? So after 5 months of very poor service they then had the cheek to send me a bill of £2775 and my buyer a bill of around £700!! For doing literally nothing! They were just the middle man!! I paid my other 2 solicitors just over that total amount combined who had to do all the usual conveyancing bits and pieces. I had to ask my solicitor to double check that Claire hadn’t fell onto a calculator and just thought “that’ll do” £2775!!? Wow When challenged on the amount the response was a snapshot of some small print in my shared ownership lease stating a charge of up to 1.5% or some croc and bull, so basically they charged that because they can. So thanks for robbing me blind and thanks again for a terrible service. Stay well clear of Forbes
