In my first meeting with James, he explained and outlined the events that would take place regarding interviews and the court process. He also discussed what the sentencing and mitigating factors could be, if I received a conviction. This was a great relief as I had greatly overestimated what the consequences could be. He evidenced his experience and knowledge relating to my case throughout our meeting, which made me feel confident I could rely on his advice. James was also very friendly and easy to talk to. He was very understanding. I was told about some of the other cases that James had dealt with, cases similar to mine. He didn’t reveal any sensitive details, but knowing other people have been through the same thing makes you feel like you're not alone. I left our initial meeting with an understanding of the process that I could not have attained anywhere else. I was kept up-to-date throughout this whole experience and was given advice along the way. This included key information on activities I could undertake, which would act as mitigating factors when presented at court. Communication was always extremely prompt and professional. This was critical as my case ultimately became quite lengthy and complex, so I am glad I could rely on the expertise of James and ABR to facilitate the process. I'm confident that everything that could have been done for me was done. Thanks to James's help, I received the best possible outcome for my case.
