Although not the cheapest option, the service provided was outstanding from start to finish. Sadly I’ve had my fair share of solicitors the last few years but morecrofts are the finest. Divorce is an expensive process but having a team around you for contact, expertise and understanding support is paramount. Kathy McQuillan and Adam Sexstone are a formidable team, offering help, support and protection for you as standard. This duo went above and beyond for me on many occasions and I’m glad to have been represented by them instead of other firms I’ve had the misfortune of dealing with in other matters. I can utterly concur what Barry Jones has said. This is the truth, I was not impressed with my representation and encountered poor service. As this was a divorce case, they pride themselves on understanding divorce is a stressful time, they don't take your feelings into account. They love the fact that anger and emotion gets in the way, as they clock up the fees as a fee earner. If you do complain don't bother speaking with a partner, they get very defensive and close ranks and don't take your comments into account. Their advice is misleading with their solicitor jargon, they don't explain things properly, they do it to allay fear and worry, to rack up costs of another email and letter. Then you have to ring them to clarify, more money for the phone call. The PART TIME representation I received left a lot to be desired due to scattiness and the long weekend made for disorganisation. When it comes to court, against the opposition it was a cringeworthy no show, get out if it to earn their cut from you paying a barrister. It was nothing short of racketeering as well as arrogant and ignorant. For me their credibility and reputation as an individual and firm of solicitors is in utter disrepute. Look at previous reviews and avoid them, find one with 5 stars.
Supposed to offer family services but won’t get involved in the contact side of things. Apparently they only do disputes but what if your disputing contact? They love legal aid clients as they get paid anyway by the tax payer for doing nothing.i have made a complaint to the solicitor and never got a reply that’s how bad they are

We have had Alison work on three property transactions, our most recent was a particularly complex purchase involving an unusual leasehold structure, Alison handled it with a high level of professionalism, diligence and care throughout. Alison was thorough in identifying and explaining the legal issues, especially where these had implications for our lender and long-term security. The process was challenging, but we are so grateful for the level of scrutiny applied as it gave us confidence that we fully understood the risks and were making an informed decision. Communication was clear and consistent, and we always felt that our interests were being properly protected. Alison remained patient and supportive during what became a lengthy and sometimes stressful transaction, working constructively to help move things forward. Thanks to her persistence and attention to detail, we were ultimately able to complete with confidence. We cannot recommend Alison enough and are so grateful to have had her working on our purchase.
