I used Fosters for conveyancing and was so impressed I returned to make my Will. The expertise, care and thoughtfulness of all their staff has been superb in every aspect. I felt consistently reassured by the professionalism of Rebecca and Jordan who were genuinely kind. I can’t thank them enough.
Dear Ruth, Thank you for your review on the excellent service you received from Rebecca & Jordan. Your kind words have been shared with them. With kinds regards, Fosters Solicitors LLP
I used fosters in Lowestoft to sell my house in caister. The lady I spoke to throughout the sale was Bernadette elvin who was very helpful and always kept informed. I would highly recommend fosters of Lowestoft.
Dear Lee, Thank you for your recommendation and review on the helpful service and good communication you received from Bernadette Elvin. With kind regards, Fosters Solicitors LLP
In March 2024, I was involved in a no-fault accident, a car driven at speed failed To give way at a road junction, my vehicle was written off, and I spent two days Being examined in the hospital, I was told that I had received serious Injuries. I was told to rest for three months and take painkillers when I needed to. I had legal cover, but that didn’t help for the pain I was in, my insurance company sent me details of a claims company they used, but they were in Manchester, and being hard of hearing, that was a big no! no!. I needed face-to-face, hands-on, and local. A family member advised me to contact Fosters Solicitors in Norwich city centre to get an appointment. I was introduced to a young man named Chris Turner was the head of his department. I gave him all the information about the accident insurance details and the witness, etc., while we were talking One of the members of his team was getting this all down to a file set up in my name. Over the next few weeks and months, Chris kept me updated on progress And still being in pain legs and shoulders, he arranged for me to get physio and a meeting with a specialist to see what further treatment I might need To have Chris and his team take care of legal and medical issues was a huge relief. Chris fought my case and didn’t stop till he got what he called the right result To cut to the chase, my claim was now settled quickly without going to court And I was very pleased with the result. Many thanks to Chris Turner and his team at Foster Solicitors, Norwich
Dear Terry, Thank you for your review on the great support and service you received from Chris Turner and his team. We are so pleased to hear of the great outcome after a very stressful period. With kind regards, Fosters Solicitors LLP
I rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to warn others about my experience with Foster Solicitors Lowestoft. Buying a house is stressful enough without having to constantly chase your solicitor for updates, answers, or basic competence. Throughout the entire process, communication was abysmal. Emails went unanswered for days, and I was often left completely in the dark about the status of my purchase. When I did manage to get through, responses were vague, dismissive, or contradictory. To make matters worse, their attitude was unapologetic and unprofessional. I didn’t feel like a valued client; I felt like an inconvenience. After months of delays and wasted time, Foster Solicitors Lowestoft decided they no longer wanted to proceed with my case. They failed to provide any specific reason for this decision, only referencing vague concerns about meeting their money laundering policy. This was especially confusing and upsetting given that the person who referred us to them was in the exact same financial and personal position as us, yet faced no such issues. The inconsistency and lack of transparency raise serious concerns about discriminatory treatment. I would strongly advise anyone considering Foster Solicitors Lowestoft to look elsewhere. Buying a property is too important to entrust to a solicitor who can’t manage even the basics or treat clients with fairness and respect.
Dear Damilola, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We fully appreciate how stressful buying a home can be, and I’m genuinely sorry that you felt disappointed in our communication and service during this important process. While we cannot comment on the details without thoroughly reviewing your file, I understand how delays, unanswered emails, and unclear responses could feel distressing. Regarding the decision to not proceed with your matter, this was taken in accordance with our strict obligations under the UK’s anti money laundering (AML) laws. As regulated solicitors under the Money Laundering Regulations 2017 and the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002, we are legally required to conduct thorough due diligence on all clients and transactions. This includes sometimes making sensitive decisions. These requirements apply uniformly. Our duty is to be consistent, proportionate, and fully compliant—not to guarantee identical outcomes in every case. I’m afraid the information you provided, did not meet our requirements. ________________________________________ What We’d Like to Do Next 1. Offer a Formal Complaint One of our Partners would welcome the opportunity to carry out a formal complaint review of your file with regards to your service concerns regarding communication and professionalism. Keep Improving Your feedback underlines the importance of clear communication, especially when sensitive legal procedures are involved. We’re taking this on board as we continue to refine our client service processes. With kind regards, Fosters Solicitors LLP
