Awful service

Used for a house sale and purchase and the service is diabolical.
Lost paperwork twice, never answered our lenders question causing the chain to nearly breakdown and this left us using all of our money to buy the house without a mortgage.
Dealt with so many different people meaning that you have to explain yourselves over and over. Solicitor impossible to get hold of and our estate agent kept us more up to date.
Am collating all the errors that made and will be making a formal complaint against their incompetencies throughout the whole process.

Do not use - so slow

Lost paperwork that had been hand delivered, excuse for not proceeding quick with the house sale - short staffed, holidays and staff being pinged. All not acceptable excuses.
Given them til Monday to make movements or we will change solicitors and fight to get our money back from them. For peace of Ming and to reduce stress and anxiety use another company.

This Branch of Fosters has always exceeded our expectations, the Staff are professional and helpful.
It is very important to use a Company that is thorough especially in the complex property market - We have used Fosters for numerous transactions and have only praise for their expertise.

Top Notch

I’ve been a client of Fosters Norwich for nearly a decade.
I’ve used the property teams and litigation teams.
I find the staff friendly, professional and pragmatic.
Legal transactions are rarely straightforward and the guys at Fosters understand how do their Jobs.
For those that have written some less than flattering reviews, I have used many firms over the years and these guys are the best. They won’t point fingers at others in the transaction and they are quick to react if the mistake is theirs. Some transactions are quick and smooth, others are like pushing water uphill with a fork. Generally there are a lot of parties involved in legal transactions and not all are equally motivated but I can assure you from my experience that Fosters are exactly where you need them, when you need them and will always get the job done.
As with all things screaming and shouting really only slows things down but if that is your thing, let them know and they will understand that is how you vent and they will work with it.

In the most simple terms, they care about their clients.

Stress free experience

This is now the third time we have asked Fosters Solicitors to represent us.
The first was for the purchase of an additional property, everything went very well and the purchase was complete in record time, excellent feedback and very efficient staff.
The second time was a dispute with my builder that had gone on for a while, after a letter was sent by Chris Fielding with a couple of phone calls the dispute was resolved.
The third was more complex and almost ended in going to civil court but we ended with an out of court settlement and a successful conclusion.
Excellent advice and hard work from Chris Fielding and his team led to the successful conclusion.
I would always ask Chris Fielding to act for us in the future if I ever have another problem and I would recommend Fosters Solicitors for their very friendly approach, their professionalism and value for money

Unprofessional Firm

Would strongly recommend not using this company after the poor service that I received when using them to sell and purchase recent properties. Recommended by the estate agent as a helpful company however couldn't be more opposite if they tried. I spent more time chasing all the parties and dealing with outstanding queries rather than the company (Fosters Solicitor) who were being £799.00 per property to do so.

In addition to be told on numerous occasions incorrect information, only to have to spend more time on the phone to other parties in order to find out the correct information.

Also my case was passed about the team rather than one dedicated person due to being short staffed and being told also other client cases were more important.

Please ensure that you do not ignore this review - after issuing my complaint onto their supposedly 'complaints team' I was offered the smallest of discount off my final fee and I am currently in the process of dealing with the Legal Ombudsman who have confirmed that my case is strong.

If I could rate this company as no stars then I would.
