Performance of Sarah Coombs

Sarah handled a very sensitive matter for me. Not only was she extremely competent but also compassionate and understanding. She untangled the "legalese" and explained my position in simple terms. I would not hesitate to recommend her expertise

From really BAD to Good

I was with another solicitor at another firm that was totally bad. Cost me a lot.
Then Sarah retrieved my bad situation and started all over again.
I found Sarah to be totally understanding but also very realistic giving me the advice I needed and not just what I wanted to hear as the previous one had.
Honest, trustworthy and reliable was Sarah and the team.
I would highly recommend her services.

Jasmine Moxey- Butler - Cow Attack

I contacted Slee Blackwell Solicitors, having found their details on a Google search, following being let down by an alternative company. The case was regarding a cow attack in Wiltshire, which also had a criminal case against the land owner. Jasmine Moxey-Butler returned my call. From the outset she was polite, considerate and understanding. She listened to the complex case for a significant period, involving 3 adults and 3 dog and explored several questions, instantly providing faith. Once satisfied she then offered representation on a no win no fee basis. Her professionalism continued throughout, remaining extremely responsive and communicative. There was never any confusion and all aspects of the claim were understood at every level, up to a successful outcome and settlement.

I therefore give Jasmine and her team my strongest possible recommendation

Quick communication, measured advice and I felt confident in adhering to Naomis suggestions. Naomi was confident of a successful outcome from the outset and this was reassuring and ultimately she was successful in my case. I would recommend Naomi personally and due to my positive experience I will also be using Slee and Blackwell for other services.

Excellent experience

I was very impressed with James and Katie. They gave clear advice post dog bite and in the months/ years afterwards. Always explaining processes with patience and understanding that they was speaking to someone who hadn’t gone through this process before. They left no stone unturned when calculating losses - especially as I am self employed and the period in time covered post covid highs in potential income. Highly recommend.

I liked that we were using a local company where you could have a face to face meeting if/when necessary. Our solicitor kept us informed throughout the process, was generally quick with replying and was patient with explanations when we needed. We had a few ‘queries’ but these were soon rectified. Anya (our solicitor) was professional but also approachable and did her utmost to keep to our brief. She has made a stressful situation easier as well as achieving an outcome we would not have been able to rectify without her help. I would certainly use Slee Blackwell (Anya Hoyland) again.

About this branch

Description

Slee Blackwell Solicitors are an award winning, Legal 500 recommended practice serving clients nationwide. 2020 was our centenary year. We have come a long way in the past one hundred plus years, but we remain committed to the principles of our founder Ernest Slee to provide the highest levels of professional service. We are proud to have been awarded Lexcel accreditation, the Law Society’s legal practice quality mark for excellence in legal practice management and legal client care. Our clients therefore have the peace of mind of knowing that their legal affairs are in safe hands and that their interests are being looked after by an established, accredited law firm that is dedicated to providing a first class service. While we provide a full range of legal services, we are known nationally for our expertise in a number of niche areas of law, including inheritance disputes, medical negligence and animal law. Our work has attracted a great deal of media attention. Medical negligence Lawyer, Oliver Thorne, has for instance been celebrated for spearheading the fight for justice of hundreds of British PIP breast implant victims in the French courts, as well as campaigning for the rights of mothers and babies who have been let down by our health services. Partner James McNally (who has been shortlisted for Claimant Lawyer of the Year at the 2021 National Personal Injury Awards) has been dubbed 'The Dog Bite Solicitor' by The Guardian newspaper.
