This is the second time I have used Meaby & Co, previously used them for the Grant of Probate process for my late mums' estate. We finally found a buyer for our property. We did not want to use Estate agent solicitors, as they are never good, and estate agents always get a referral fee, so they always want to use them. I reached back out to Meaby & Co and was introduced to Rachael and her team. What a breath of fresh air to deal with a Solicitor who returns calls and replies to emails. Rachael and the team have been excellent in chasing the other solicitor, keeping me up to date, and managing to get the whole process resolved in a couple of months. From 2020 until 2024, Mrs Marie Waters lead a very professional entwined with sheer empathetic team assisting me with my late mother's bereavement. I was kept informed at each stage with clear and comprehensive explanations when needed. I was recommended to use Patricia Shaw as my Solicitor for my first purchase! And wow was I blown away! Patricia’s knowledge, professionalism and attention to detail was fantastic! She really crossed all the T’s and dotted all the I’s. I would recommend her a million percent! The firm is a little expensive compared to other firms ( don’t be put off) you’re definitely paying for a premium service and that’s exactly what you receive!

Terence has been dealing with my late step-father's estate since he died in August 2018. The paperwork for probate was sitting on his desk for over 7 months before he filed it. He also wasn't replying to emails and phone calls. It's been a huge headache for our family and friends to sort this out, not through anything we've done, but through Terence's lack of effort. UPDATE: Having spoken with the senior lawyer, the money is being paid and they have assured me this isn't something that normally happens. We now have to wait and see how long it takes to release the rest of the estate and settle all matters.
