I cannot recommend Bill Rashbrook at Downs Solicitors highly enough. Our sale involved an extremely complex issue with our freeholder that prevented us from exchanging contracts. My original solicitors were unable to deal with the complexities of amending the lease, and it looked as though the sale might not be able to proceed. Bill took ownership of the matter from the outset and gave us complete confidence that it could be resolved. No problem was ever too big, and his professionalism, knowledge, and determination were outstanding throughout. Behind the scenes, Bill worked tirelessly, coordinating with the freeholder, the freeholder's solicitors, my buyers' solicitors, my onward purchase solicitors, and the estate agents involved in both transactions. He kept everything moving forward, resolved issues as they arose, and ultimately achieved what others had been unable to do. Without Bill's expertise and persistence, I genuinely don't believe our sale and purchase would have completed. He went above and beyond at every stage, and we are incredibly grateful for everything he did.

Bill and Natasja were great to work with. They were pleasant and professional, knowledgeable and proactive, prompt, efficient and kept us well informed throughout - we could not have asked for more. We were trying to buy a flat for my father-in-law. Bill's intuition on the first was spot on, and we pulled out. On the second, from instruction to completion it took just 5 weeks, despite 2 Bank Holiday weekends! Thank you! Highly recommended.

I engaged Downs Solicitors to provide a conveyancing service for my mothers house. Bronwyn Olivier and Liz Rose provided a very good service and the transaction was completed very smoothly. I had a few problems getting all the documents sent by e mail however I was able to deliver them directly to the office where the reception team were very friendly and even made me a cup of tea whilst they processed the documents.

Chris Christofi has been excellent in all regards and went above and beyond in providing timely, clear, and concise guidance over some tricky issues relating to the sale of our flat. Would highly recommend.
