I contacted Forbes because of a complaint I had with Lancashire Police that was upheld and I needed to know how to take the matter further. Lisa was so friendly and helpful and has provided me with some really helpful background information and guidance on how to pursue the matter through the proper channels. Lisa sent me a wealth of helpful and easy to understand information along with links to various places and departments within the police. I can't recommend Forbes enough and I will definitely use them again in the future.

I was recently required to attend a voluntary interview at a police station. After comparing local law firms I decided to proceed with Slee Blackwell based on reviews and the service received upon enquiry (others were quite rude) . I was represented by Jen Law. Very impressed with the level of professionalism and knowledge from Jen. All potential outcomes were meticulously assessed and the advice received was excellent. Luckily Jens time was covered under the free advice at police stations scheme however if this was not the case I would of happily paid based on the level of service received. I highly recommend Jen Law and Slee Blackwell should anyone be needing legal advice.

The support and professional advice given me by Victoria Rees and Richard Etherington has been enormously helpful. Their communications have been clear, detailed and containing of my anxieties in relation to a difficult professional situation. Their assistance over several months has been in the form of emails, phone-calls and liaison with the police on my behalf. They were patient with my lack of knowledge of legal processes and systems and took time to clarify that I understood what might happen, including the options available to me. They were able to contain many of my anxieties and I felt very well supported. Overall they have provided an excellent service, for which I am most grateful.

I contacted Farleys in June/July 2023 seeking support and justice following various breaches by Greater Manchester Police during my unlawful detention in May 2023. Alice and Joseph were there every step of the way and kept me informed during every step of the process. GMP admitted responsibility in the most part for what I experienced and a fair outcome was settled out of court. Farleys helped to take the stress and anxiety out of taking on a Police force.
