Processing Times covers how long immigration applications and related requests take to be decided by the UK visa and immigration system. A solicitor in this area helps clients understand expected timeframes for visa, asylum, work, or family applications, and what factors can affect those times. They assess delays, gather missing evidence, prepare submissions to UK Visas and Immigration, and advise on next steps if processing times are exceeded, including potential remedies or appeals.

Why this work is usually handled by a solicitor

Processing delays can have serious consequences, such as missed deadlines or the need to re-file. A solicitor provides professional accountability, manages communications with UKVI, checks for errors or omissions in applications, and addresses procedural issues that could extend timelines. They ensure client funds and records are handled with proper conduct and provide rights of audience where applicable when representing in relevant tribunals or courts.

I just want to say a big thank you for everything you have done for me and my family in the last two years. You were always there for us, always kind, patient, and helpful. Even when things were hard, you never gave up. You always gave me hope and support, and I really appreciate that. Because of your help, my child and I can finally start a new and happy life. I will never forget your help and kindness. I’m so happy I met you. The best Solicitor I’ve ever met ❤️
