Over the past 45 years the firm has grown from a one man band to what is now a large regional law firm employing over 350 staff across 20 offices throughout Yorkshire. We offer the broadest suite of legal services in the region and are very much embedded in the communities in which we have offices. Whilst some of the growth has been facilitated through acquiring other smaller firms, most has been organic as a consequence of clients recommending us or returning for additional services.

Warmly welcomed to the company by Bethany Early, who introduced me to Olivia Plant-Williams, who noted my wishes and wrote up my will. I recently used Ison Harrison for a combination of a house purchase, transfer of deeds for my previous house and witnessing our name change via deed poll. They were great throughout the process of all of them, and we particularly appreciated Samuel's prompt responses and thorough, well-explained responses to our questions in a way that we could understand. Credit to Ellie and Khansa too for their involvement in keeping all of this moving and their support. Right now I am still drowning in boxes and never want to move house again 😆 but if I do, I will definitely use IH.
Ison Harrison Solicitors recently handled the sale of my late mother's house. Everything was handled promptly and accurately. Ison Harrisons portal and on boarding is market leading and makes it straight forwards to provide all the conveyancing information required in one go. This fed into a smooth and efficient transaction with Rachel Straughan understanding the intricacies of the transaction and kept on top of everybodys deadlines and made sure we completed on time. Dan and Karen were incredible throughout our purchase. We had a very tight time frame, it was a very sensitive and stressful situation and was not a straight forward transaction. They provided kindness, professionalism, patience and support and without them I don’t believe the sale would have gone through. They went above and beyond with the service they provided and showed a human understanding whilst remaining professional and providing strong legal guidance. They communicated with us so well and I have already recommended them to several people and will continue to tell everyone how fantastic they were in getting out purchase over the line. I chose Ison Harrrison for the sale of my house in Yorkshire and for buying a property in London. Sonia, Oliver and Ellie-Louise have been absolutely brilliant. They've always taken the time to explain everything clearly (particularly with regards to my leasehold purchase), and been super responsive over email. I highly recommend them!
