We had a friendly greeting when we arrived at Joran's office. Received good information about our circumstances and our wills. The changes we wanted were made to our satisfaction. The service we received was efficient and quick. The only criticism we have is that our preliminary drafts had several mistakes, mostly my children's names. This gave us the feeling they had been done in haste and not properly checked before they were sent to us. Never the less we were happy with the service we received and would have given 5 stars if not for the mistakes.

I needed a new will and to take out Financial and Welfare LPAs following the death of my wife. Sophie Costello at Jordans was recommended. All 3 documents were delivered promptly, efficiently and to time and budget. What made the difference was the engaging personality of Sophie. She combined detailed knowledge of the legal and financial aspects of these issues with a warmth and empathetic manner that ensured the sensitive aspects of these issues were fully but carefully explained. Many people are put off putting in place these vital documents because of the issues they cover. Don’t be! I have no hesitation in encouraging people to get on and do it and would recommend Sophie as an ideal Solicitor to reassure you and deliver the documents that suit your circumstances and needs.

My wife and I wanted to update our wills. We chose Jordans in Wetherby rather than our original Harrogate solicitors based on positive online reviews and because they seemed to offer better value for money. Sophie Costello took time to fully understand our situation and advised us on potential solutions, explaining them in ways we could readily understand rather than sticking to "legalese". Once we had made the relevant decisions, our draft wills were produced promptly, with the opportunity to review and make minor amendments before the final version was signed today. Any queries were answered quickly, whether in person, or by phone or email. All in all, a very professional and friendly service, with the final cost the same as our original quote. Highly recommended!
