They genuinely understand different facets of the law - even if your claim may be ordinarily time barred there may be a way forwards in some cases. As long as you prepare your documents well and point out to the solicitors where are the potential issues as well as argument points they can give a good strategy. Perhaps maybe things should be summarised a bit more? But not much time was used on fee structures - it would be best to settle part of that before the initial or further consultations.

I truly feel like this company need the highest praise I can give. I am not yet finished my transaction due to massive delays caused on the other side of the transaction. This is a small company who actually care about their clients. I have had nothing but communication and updates from my solicitor who has done more than his fair share of work to push my purchase along and try and compensate for the awful solicitors on the other side. I will never lose his contact details as I don't think that a good solicitor is easy to find. For reference I used the Harborne branch.

I am a kind person I usually don't give bad comments but I have to say this out this time. First of all, I am not a client of NBB. NBB is my seller's solicitor. Both us and seller want to complete before the end of Nov. But The conveyancing was delayed because of a rediculous reason. The seller's solicitor didn't reply to my solicitor's inquries. When I asked why, they said they didn't received any emails from my solicitors, which is hard to believe. Two reasons: (1) my solicitor can provide emails records that they have sent the inquiries in Oct which is a month ago, and they chase up again in Nov. I do have a copy of the inquries that has been sent out. (2) When I ask my solicitor to send the inquiries again to them, then they received. Why can't they receive the email before, but now they can? Is it strange? They lied (unless they can prove they didn't)! The most annoying thing is that when we and the seller and the estate agent raised this as URGENT, they still didn't reply to the inquiries even after one week. Still NO one has contacted my vendor or estate agent. We are desperately waiting for completion by the end of this week but they just don't care and disappeared. There are many good reviews here maybe you are lucky, you met a good solicitor, but if you are unlucky, then it is a nightmaire, I am afraid. Some are unprofessional here and careless about their client and their cases.

I usually don't give bad reviews but I think this needs to be said. I know we are in a pandemic, have a lot of backlog, and short staffed everywhere. But we all can do better and be kind. The solicitor who handled my case was condescending in answering my emails. Her legal assistant has no empathy. They should attend a seminar. I was kept in the dark and I kept chasing and chasing and it felt like I was a bother to them when they responded. Papers had wrong spelling, had the wrong address, wasn't checked until I went ape and really cried that they seemed to pretend to understand where I was coming from. Had a legitimate query, and instead of a professional, empathic answer, I got an answer "no one is going to want to certify that". Gee thanks. Could have said it in a less patronising way? Only giving 2 stars because of Paul Nicholls. Very reassuring and kind, they can learn a thing or two from him.
