I can’t recommend Simon at Sills & Betteridge enough. I’ve just received a settlement for an injury I suffered at work, I had no idea what I could expect from the claim but I couldn’t be happier with the end result. Throughout the claim Simon maintained regular contact and support, even with the difficulties of Covid-19. Wonderful Support All The Way
It would be fair to say that I was reluctant to enter into making an insurance claim as I am against the current claim culture. My employers had been more than supportive and they themselves were going through a crisis. I felt very guilty about making a claim even when I found that my accident was going to inhibit my health and abilities. Then following a very positive recommendation from a friend I got in touch with Simon Breeden at Sills and Betteridge.
Simon had acted for my friend who had been of a similar mind to me. Simon put me at ease about my claim explaining everything. I wasn’t making a claim against my employers but against their insurance company and that was why they had insurance. Simon explained the processes fully. However what was seemingly a straight forward claim was about to get drawn out dud to Covid. My treatment became complicated as multiple consultants and departments got involve with differing views as to how to proceed and likely outcomes. Simon was brilliant supporting me and my family through a number of setbacks and minor disasters and through what seem never-ending periods of worry and disappointments and inactivity by those in charge of my care. When all the collation of treatments and prognosis were done Simon arranged quality independent analysis which really helped me see and understand my options.
After some offer and counter offer tennis we reached a more than fair agreement. During the whole process Simon involved the right people at the right time with full explanations and alternative choices. This involved some of colleagues. I never felt handed over more an enforcing opinion that everything was going to be alright. It was a long process due to Covid but they got me through it
I cannot recommend Simon his colleague Laura and the firm that is Sills and Betteridge enough. Quality People providing a Quality service.
