    Christine was amazing

    We appointed Hewitts as our solicitors as FTBs and Christine overlooked the case with help from her team including Holly. I do not have a single fault. They communicated well and were extremely proactive. I never had any issues getting in touch with them and they were never bothered by me emailing or calling with questions. Although the questions I had they were already one step ahead and were in the process of doing it or had already done it. They thought of things before I could even think of it. Honestly can't recommend enough and all our families and friends even commented that we got some really good solicitors

    Pleased as.......

    Being totally unaware of solicitors actions and deeds we approached this firm. From day one it was easy, explanations of our requirements in law/financially all laid out to us in layman's terms and any odd questions were dealt with.     Very poor communication and guidance.

    I highly recommend Askews Solicitors Limited to anyone in a similar situation. As a first-time buyer, part of my deposit came from Sri Lanka as a gift from my parents, which made the process more complex. Initially, I worked with Hewitts Solicitors, Emma Haworth, but unfortunately, we faced several challenges due to a lack of clear guidance on the documentation required and very poor communication. Previous buyer a an Indian Doctor who was trying to buy the same house with the same firm and the same solicitor faced the same scenario according to the seller of my property. Clearly there is some issues looking at it. Looking back, had we instructed Askews Solicitors from the beginning, I am confident the transaction would have completed in under three months. Instead, we lost valuable time with Hewitts law firm. In summary if the source of funds are from Asia based countries DO NOT GO AHEAD WITH HEWITTS.

      Extremely slow and stressful when moving house Hewitts didn't help matters in the slightest. I would recommend you go elsewhere for your conveyancing needs.

      Can’t speak highly enough of Hewitts Solicitors. Danielle and her team, Jasmine and Kate, were excellent from start to finish. Always kept us in the loop, easy to get hold of when we needed them, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. They’re clearly very knowledgeable but also approachable and down to earth, which made a big difference during what can be a stressful process.
