I found it very difficult to find legal representation for a COP matter, but then Holly came to my rescue to help advise, guide, and support me through a very difficult and emotional process for LPAs acting in the best interests of their mum who had lost capacity to support themselves. Holly was attentive, listen well and advised the best way forward to achieve the best outcome from the evidence and statements I already prepared to act in person. It is without doubt that the whole process is very upsetting, emotional and even though I was ready and armed to act in person failing to find representation it is extremely beneficial for someone else to help with the pressure, understand the legalities and know what is required to achieve the desired outcome. Holly was able to act on my behalf following instructions and guiding me every step of the way. Without her I do not know if we would have succeeded. My matter was very sensitive, like most going through the COP, but I do recommend getting advise and Biscoes Solicitors, namely Holly Aiken will provide you with the support and advise needed to help you through the process.

Having Sultana guide my young person through this experience made such a difference. I've had 3 other young people go through this, only one of whom even had a solicitor - and we didn't even hear from her! Having Sultana present in the PIM lent gravitas to our young person's claim and the fact that we had a meeting the day before to go through what the interview would be like, as well as a follow up interview to discuss the future, increased the confidence for our young person hugely. A successful result was achieved but we would have had every confidence in Sultana taking us through the appeal process if we needed to.
