As Executor and next of Kin both myself and wife had so much to deal with so having Liyen take the worry of applying for probate away from us was such a relief.

Our first experience with Biscoes was just before the impact of covid with the completion of a new lease on a retail unit we own. This transaction was relatively simple but very efficiently handled so we had no hesitation in returning to Biscoes to deal with the new lease of an industrial property where we have been tenants for 20 years. This transaction was a whole different story and has taken a year to finally sign off due to some challenges along the way with the negotiations. Throughout the entire process, Luke has been incredibly attentive and responsive to our many possibly tedious questions but we needed confidence and re-assurance about this one. At the same time this was going on Luke very successfully completed a new lease for us on a totally separate industrial unit and in an incredible 8 weeks! We wouldnt hesitate to recommend Luke and the Biscoes Team and in fact, now it is time for us to re-negotiate the lease on the retail unit that started the relationship and we are very confident that this will be handled with the same professionalism and expertise. A huge personal thank you to Luke.

We used biscoes to help buy our first home and the service was amazing. Description

Historically, the longserving Portsmouth based firms of Biscoe Smith, Heather and Bellinger, Cousins Burbidge & Connor and Lyndhurst Groves merged in 1994 to form Biscoes Cousins Groves. In 2004 in the Firm's 150th year, Biscoes absorbed Wilkinson & Co and merged with King and Franckeiss, both well respected local firms. Subsequently in 2005 a merger with Covers added a Petersfield office to an already impressive list of locations, which was closely followed by the opening of an office in Gosport. In 2006 a Portchester branch was created following the link up with the long established practice of Barry Swanton & Co. In 2018 Biscoes merged with Gurney Champion & Co & Heyes Saumuel in Ryde, Isle of Wight. Biscoes continues to move confidently into the 21st Century, whilst remaining steadfastly committed to the provision of a traditional and locally based legal service. Located in offices close to you. Emergency and home appointments are available in certain cases. We are here to help you with all your legal requirements and offer a comprehensive range of legal services.
