Unfortunately at the bottom of the chain it was a different story but with The support of FJG and patience the completion finally happened. Sold and purchased properties through FJG and could not recommend highly enough. Lorraine King and Diana Stott were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Kept us well informed and advised throughout the process, returned calls promptly and outstanding in terms of communication. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble, to the point we had wills drawn up too. Even with the global pandemic, their service has been fantastic. We will definitely be using them again for any future requirements and we have already recommended them to friends and family.

In short, I do recommend FJG as they did get the job done in the end, in what was a nightmare of a house purchase that ended up lasting a year. However what let me down was the poor customer service from the solicitor dealing with the transaction, Mike Theeman. I do not solely blame him as clearly he is so overworked and they are so understaffed that he simply did not have time to speak to us. We had to chase non stop for updates, and often when we did finally get an update it was a brief one line email. He would never speak to us on the phone when we called, we only ever spoke to him once or twice and the conversations were literally 30 seconds long as it seems he cant wait to get off the phone to us. He never once picked up the phone and called us to update us on what was going on. He also hung up on our broker when he called to speak to him. He was very stand offish and sometimes rude in emails to us, which is simply not good enough when you are paying a lot for their services. I work in a similar industry so I know what to be expected of a solicitor, and in this instance we were let down.

Great place to do business

From the moment that Keeley had the file passed to her she took ownership of the problems with the sale. Keeley was professional and supportive throughout. Despite a host of challenges she never lost focus which was hugely appreciated and without her I'm not sure the sale would have completed. As an Estate Agent you need that support and tenacity from your Vendor's solicitor and Keeley had that in spades. Great job.
