After much hostility from my ex spouse regarding pension sharing and division of the matrimonial home I went to Martin Tollhurst for advice and representation. I was allotted a solicitor, Giles Dobson, to work on getting me a fair and equitable deal. Because of waiting for answers from my exes solicitors, court hearings and finally the pension scheme that the pension was with (10 months for them), I finally got a good settlement on both the sale of the house and pension share. Giles kept me informed at every stage and I felt very much involved rather than “done to”. Thankyou Martin Tollhurst and specifically thankyou Giles Dobson. I would certainly recommend you practice to anyone who needed legal advice and help.

We feel so lucky to have chosen such incredible solicitors for our sale and purchase. We had a few bumps in the road over the last 7 months, but we had full trust that Ameera and Tom would handle it all, and they did! Ameera was amazing at keeping us up to date constantly, we never felt like we had to chase her, she was already one step ahead everytime. It also really helped that she was so easy to talk to, any worries or concerns we had she was able to explain it all in layman’s terms and always had our best interests at the forefront of everything she did. Although we hope to never move again, if we did we would without a doubt use Martin Tolhurst solicitors, and would most definitely recommend them to anyone needing them. We recently purchased our new house and used Martin Tolhurst Solicitors from start to finish. They were absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and we were guided and supported every step of the way. The most important thing for me during what is a very stressful process was knowing that if I ever contacted them they would respond instantly, in the most professional and supportive manner. The person who dealt with our purchase was GEORGIA CARTER who was way beyond amazing. Georgia was part of Charlotte Farrant’s team and made the whole process so much smoother. The reality is, Martin Tolhurst Solicitors made everyone else’s solicitors seem like a bunch of amateurs. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

From early contact, through to the final exchange and completion we have nothing but praise for the conveyancing team of Cathy and Becky at Martin Tolhurst Solicitors. The process was slowed due to lack of professionalism on behalf of another solicitor. Cathy and Becky kept us informed and pushed our buyer and his solicitor to the point of officially complaining, whereby exchange and completion took place in 48 hrs. Great service and thoroughly recommended. Additionally I would think twice of selecting conveyancers a great distance away. We had documents that were received, printed and hand delivered back in 2 hours.
