Gemma and the team helped with the sale of my late Father-in-law house. They came recommended through the estate agents who were absolutely dire and complete charlatans. So it was a pleasant surprise the solicitors they recommended were stars. thank you so much for being the only decent people in this process.

With her expert guidance (and patience!), we completed on the purchase of our new home in 8 weeks, and thanks to Abbie, it went as smoothly as is possible. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A massive thank you to Martin Tolhurst Solicitors! We used them to purchase our first home, and the whole process was so easy and smooth from start to finish. A special personal thank you to Cathy Price and Rebecca Aris, who were both absolutely amazing throughout. They were so professional, helpful and friendly, and the speed of the service was outstanding. They really were just fabulous and made buying our first home such a stress-free experience. Thank you both so much for all your hard work and support — it’s very much appreciated! I would highly recommend Martin Tolhurst Solicitors and will definitely use them again in the future!
Gemma handled our conveyancing diligently. Her attention to detail was of great assistance. Moreover, she was always happy to answer our numerous questions. We really appreciated her help and would gladly recommend her.

I cannot recommend Martin Tolhurst Solicitors highly enough, and in particular Danielle Adlington and Emily Pope, who handled the conveyancing on the sale of my home. This was far from a straightforward sale. It ran alongside a number of difficult matters and was held up for months by a dispute at the Land Registry. Throughout it all, Danielle and Emily were calm, thorough and completely on top of every detail. They kept me informed at every stage, explained clearly what was happening and what my options were, and dealt promptly with the Land Registry, the buyers' solicitors and the lender. Just as important, they were kind. At a very stressful time they were patient with my many questions and always made me feel that my matter mattered to them. Their persistence is a large part of why the sale got over the line. Thank you, Danielle and Emily. I would not hesitate to use the firm again or to recommend you to friends and family.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback! It was a pleasure to act for you on your matter. We really appreciate you taking the time to leave this review. Thank you again. Ilaria Martin Tolhurst Solicitors Online Team
Gemma Nie was fantastic throughout the entire process of selling my leasehold property. The sale went through within 4 months. She was incredibly responsive, and I could always get through to her on the phone whenever I needed to. She also acknowledged and responded to emails very efficiently, keeping me fully informed every step of the way. I always knew exactly what was happening and felt at ease knowing she had everything she needed from me. Whenever I was unsure about anything, she clearly explained what was required, making the whole process straightforward and stress-free. If you’re weighing up your options when choosing a solicitor, I would 100% recommend Martin Tolhurst and, in particular, Gemma Nie. Thank you so much for all your help and support!

I cannot recommend Georgina Vanden Berghe and the team at Martin Tolhurst highly enough. We were on a very tight timeline to get our wills completed, and despite being busy, it felt like she dropped everything to make sure our deadlines were met. Although our wills themselves were fairly straightforward, the Inheritance Tax (IHT) implications were much more complex. Over the course of two meetings and numerous emails, she took the time to meticulously collate all the necessary data and present her findings in a clear, accessible way. She broke down complex legal and tax terms effortlessly. I have never dealt with a solicitor who was so down-to-earth, open, honest, and approachable. Her assistant was also incredibly friendly and efficient, ensuring the entire process ran seamlessly. An outstanding, stress-free experience from start to finish.
