I cannot recommend David Sykes, Rachael Johnson and the team at Bell Lamb & Joynson highly enough. Going through a divorce after such a long marriage was never going to be easy, but from beginning to end I genuinely felt looked after and valued. The whole process took almost 19 months, and throughout that time David and Rachael were incredibly accessible. Whenever I had a question or was unsure about something, they were always very quick to answer the phone or get back to me. I never felt like I was left wondering what was happening or constantly having to chase for answers. What really stood out to me was how clear and logical everything felt. Each stage was explained in a way that made sense, I understood what the next step was and why we were taking it, and I never had that frustrating feeling of going round in circles. During what could have been an incredibly stressful process, that made such a difference. There were some difficult and stressful moments along the way, particularly towards the end, but I always felt that I was in safe hands and that my best interests were being looked after. After almost 19 months, finally reaching the end of my divorce and being able to close this chapter of my life was a huge moment. I am incredibly grateful to David and Rachael for their professionalism, patience, kindness and support throughout the entire process. I found Bell Lamb & Joynson solicitors to be a really great firm of Solicitors to use from start to finish, doing everything they could to help and make sure it all ran smoothly from Andy Burke in the beginning to Claire Manning at the end ,replying to any questions I had ,no matter how silly they where ,with in that day. Sam and Ellie were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They were easily accessible on the phone and would always return calls if they were not immediately available. They worked hard to complete on our preferred date, despite a number of obstacles caused by other conveyancing firms in the chain. I would highly recommend BL&J and would not hesitate to use them again the future. Precessional, friendly and prompt service throughout. The APP was very user friendly and a really easy way to communicate with the team. Lily was so very patient, calming and friendly - everything you would want from a conveyancing solicitor Buying a house with funds from a divorce and related marital home sale added a level of complexity for me , but not for Lily who made sure I was protected throughout. It was sometimes difficult to get updates especially on the app provided, the information did not always mean anything to me and left some confusion The final stages were very unclear, I was told things were in place, then they weren’t, then they were? I found my removal company and estate agent gave me more information than the solicitor firm on completion day, I was not informed of the process on this day, Google helped but it would have been good to have more information before the date, there was an error with the funding transfer as well which did cause more stress unfortunately. I did not meet anyone from the team and there were delays in replying to my enquiries I think it would be useful for you to provide details of what some of your terms mean eg ‘enquiries, searches, certificates’ and provide more information about timescales , I was supported by BLJ and the vendors used the same company so I would think this would usually make communication more effective? This was a new experience for me at a stressful time and as someone who has no insight into the processes involved I did feel uncertain of what to expect The reception team at the office were always helpful and it was good to see they were supporting each other when they were unsure what to do, thanks to them and please can they be told of this? Sorry I don’t recall their names I hope this will help your firm improve their service and practice

So much more expensive than other I felt like cos I'm a first time buyer it was ok to make me wait . The portal is only good when I actually get a reply. At least we have got to the end goal

Chris and Olivia were just precisely what we needed in terms of handling our house purchase. They kept the process simple, clear, efficient and were quick to deal with any issues as they arose and were highly communicative throughout. Chris was really nice and super prompt with his replies which I know that people have a hard time coming by with solicitors, so this was great. 10/10 for that. However, I think it would help to inform the customers about any potential additional costs more clearly over the phone and any action that they need to take themselves (ie. Filling out release forms for LISA). First time buyers have no experience of the process and it would help to have more concise info re: the whole process. Apart from those little things, I had a really good experience with a Chris and thank him for his help with everything.
