i was recommended by my mortgage broker about the lawyers and was not disappointed, gilson grey has been absolutely fantastic and helpful in the process of buying my property from the help with the home report and advice to the offer and paperwork. I couldn’t fault the guys , when i received an out of office message it was picked up by someone else and i wasn’t left waiting , the quick response made me feel at ease. I would 100% recommend these guys to anyone and will definitely be using them again if i need a lawyer.

Came across Gilson Gray when looking to buy a flat in North Berwick. The local office was extremely busy, so they passed us to Daouglas Hardwick in Edinburgh. He proved wonderfully responsive to all our queries, giving excellent advice and returning all calls very promptly, then passsing us back to Cheryl in N Berwick for the successful transaction there.

I really can't recommend Gilson Gray highly enough. From selling our home in Aberdeen to purchasing our new one in Dundee, the whole experience was excellent. A particular thank you must go to Deborah, who was genuinely wonderful to work with. Her knowledge of the local property market was exceptional, but what really stood out was her warmth, honesty and personal approach. Selling a home is a big decision, and there were certainly moments when I lost my nerve or questioned whether we were doing the right thing. Deborah was always there with thoughtful advice, reassurance and a sensible perspective, grounded in her considerable experience. She took the time to talk things through, and I always felt we were in very capable hands. Communication was excellent throughout, and Deborah was not only thoroughly professional but also incredibly personable and an absolute pleasure to deal with. She made what could have been a daunting process feel much more manageable. The conveyancing team were equally impressive, handling both our sale and purchase with care and professionalism. We were kept informed throughout, knew what was happening at each stage, and felt that a great deal of the stress had been taken off our shoulders. A genuinely first-class experience, and we're very grateful to Deborah and everyone at Gilson Gray.

The best estate agency in town IMO is provided by Deborah Bonner. Deborah is super friendly, super organised and VERY efficient at sorting out the marketing side (shout out to the photographer used who will make your property look the best it possibly could). I don't know what alchemy she brings to bear on potential purchasers, but twice in the past year she has sold properties for me and TWICE these were purchased by the first and only viewer she showed them to. In the most recent case, for £5k over the asking price in what remains a pretty challenging Aberdeen market. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
