I am autistic and sometimes struggle with communication, so dealing with legal issues can be particularly stressful. The team kept communication clear, simple, and easy to understand, which made the whole process much easier for me to manage. It did take a little while for the case to be picked up initially and I briefly considered looking elsewhere. However, I am glad I stayed with them. Once the case was underway, they handled everything professionally and removed the stress of having to deal with the situation myself. Overall, I felt supported and the matter was resolved without me having to worry about the legal process.

I would not recommend David Kilty or DPP Law based on my experience. The firm were extremely disorganised throughout my case, even changing the lawyer representing me on the day of the hearing. There was a lack of transparency around costs, with additional charges not clearly explained in advance. More importantly, key inconsistencies in the prosecutionās evidence were not properly challenged, my lawyer failed to present my evidence and I was not given a fair opportunity to present my defence or provide context to important material. After my Magistratesā Court trial, the firm refunded my fees in full, which raises serious concerns about the quality of representation provided. However the firm still refuse to acknowledge any responsibility, despite the refund. Overall, I felt my case was not handled to an acceptable standard, and I would strongly advise others to consider alternative representation for serious matters.

Extremely rude to an abuse victim, would not recommend going here they donāt seem to want to take on clients and almost seem to take joy in being cruel and disrespectful unprompted. Iāve never seen a law firm operate with such low standards, I highly doubt they win any cases they take on either given the level of service.

I highly recommend Ewan Lonie! He went above and beyond to make sure I knew what was happening at all times, and was prompt and clear with updates for the case.
