Without doubt the worst experience possible. Strongly advise not to use this company for anything associated with wills or probate. Poor service, poor communication, poor execution, excellent invoicing.

Terrible company to deal with, not happy, unprofessional service, and give out very bad advice, cost my family thousands of pounds that went to the tax man.

Only given one star as cannot give 0 stars. Probate department is shocking, solicitor incorrectly interpreted will which meant it it had to go to counsel costing over £1200 for him to tell her she was wrong. She didn't gather all the requirement information and documents which she had to send repeat letters asking for different documents which run up the bill. Said she applied for probate when she hadn't , incorrect names on letters, making overpayment to creditors, letters from her took 4 weeks to arrive if received at all. Now 21 months later someone else has taken over her cases due to leave and he to is making mistakes. JCP Solicitors have made a very upsetting and traumatic time much more painful

Total support and understanding

We contacted our old solicitor only to find out all changed We were very fortunate to have Cherrie Powell assigned to our complex needs . In a very short space of time she was able to sort out our wishes and legal issues. Cherrie did this with kindness patience and understanding . She made sure we knew exactly what was happening and that we fully understood the decisions we made and the impact on those decisions. She treated us with understanding especially my husband who had Alzheimers disease tjat he had fully grasped what was happening and checking his ability to make those decision on the day . When Cherrie visited or phoned us it was always like have a friend there for us She completely sorted out our powers of attorney as quickly and expertly as the pace dictated Thank you Cherrie for all your care and concerns for us Helen and Nick s

First class service

I cannot speak too highly of the Family Law team and other staff that I dealt with. Always helpful, always professional, always approachable and never failed to calm my nerves or explain issues to me in the simplest terms. Edwina and Angharad have carried out the conveyancing several times now, for both purchasing and selling property. It is a breath of fresh air to deal with them compared to experiences we've had in the past with other solicitors. They are both friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Communication is excellent as you can always reach them on the phone or via email.

Average service so far Quite slow at responding, with some responses taking over a week and prompting to respond, and a lot of questions just slip through the cracks with no response. Typical of a lot of conveyancers recently it seems. Too high a case load I guess

I would love to be able to say my experience with JCP was a great one but so far not so good. We made a big effort to go to the branch in Carmarthen yesterday and saw a lovely receptionist who said that somebody would call us back so that we could have a meeting with a solicitor. We’ve heard nothing back from them and when I phoned today, I got a call Centre in Swansea who were extremely vague and said they would put me through to some customer care unit not what I wanted. Hey we’ll keep looking for a solicitor.
