From the first phone call I experienced a most professional, courteous service. I phoned the company to enlist their assistance for the purchase of a property. I wanted to submit an offer the same day as I viewed the property. It was late pm on a Friday afternoon and I was aware that my request was almost asking the impossible. However, the formal offer was submitted on the following Monday/Tuesday after a verbal offer had been accepted. My “case” was extremely complicated and took a little longer for the settlement than normal. The lady who I dealt with was effective, efficient, courteous and eventually “got the job done” even though she had a much more important personal matter to deal with at this time.

Harper Macleod have been my family solicitor since my father died and have been superb to deal with. Their trusts and tax team have been supportive and caring in their dealings with my Mum as she slid into Alzheimer's. Andrea Ross gets a special mention for handling our property conveyancing and has been so helpful, proactive and efficient throughout. Having dealt with property transactions for many years with so many slow solicitors out there - we recommend HM for any such transactions in Scotland - superb service and great team members.

I recently used Harper MacLeod, Elgin for a Conveyancing Sale matter. Will Davidson was the fee earner dealing with the process and he was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. Will concluded the sale quickly and efficiently and I was treated in a very professional, kind and courteous manner. Not being in Scotland meant Will had to explain the vagaries of Scottish Conveyancing and he was patient and informative. I fully recommend him. I can also recommend Estate Agent, Lisa Sturgeon and team who were also very professional and helpful. Lisa dealt with documentation problems, unfortunately caused by the surveyor, very quicky. Both of the above statements are my personal opinions and I will have no hesitation in using Harper Macleod for any further private client expertise.

Unprofessional receptionist. Giggling and making jokes on someone else's matter its not what anyone would expect from Law firm. I found what I was looking for with another solid professional firm. Definitely wont use Harper Macleod LLP in the future and neither I recommend it to anyone.
