I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, they made what could have been a very stressful house sale and purchase feel much easier to manage. Ellie was fantastic throughout the whole process. She was always helpful, responsive and kept us updated at every stage, even when things became a little complicated and stressful towards completion. She took the time to explain things clearly, answered all of our questions and made sure everything was dealt with properly.

AVOID THIS FIRM! While I note lots of seemingly growing praise of this firm our experience of using Rothera Bray for conveyancing has been absolutely abysmal. They submitted an application to the Land Registry for us to complete on our property and failed to provide all of the necessary information on the application. LR emailed 11 months later informing them of the incomplete application and requested the outstanding information. It took Rothera Bray 3 months just to tell us that there was an issue with the application. We had to get separate specialist Tax advice prior to the application, RB failed to forward the advice with the application. We had to go back to the Tax advisors to get more information explaining all the rationale as to why no stamp duty was due. Many weeks later after being provided with all of the information they requested RB have still not completed the application. We get excuses like so and so has been on maternity leave and then someone is going on annual leave. No one actually takes responsibility for doing any work. It takes around 3 to 4 weeks of chasing to get any kind of response out of them. It seems that customers are an apparent distraction to whatever else they have going in on their lives. Extremely unhappy with the organisation and would not advise anyone to appoint them.

We had a really positive experience with Sally Simpson at Rothera Bray while buying our new house. She was great throughout the whole process - quick to respond, professional, made everything really straightforward. We felt listened to and kept in clear communication at all times, which really made the whole process feel stress-free. Highly recommended

Absolute disgrace of a firm. Handling my late mother's £690,000 estate, where she left a meager £2,000 legacy to Babbington Dog Rescue. These people have attempted to use legal maneuvers to protect a house share and avoid properly distributing or administering the estate as required. Completely unethical behavior. Avoid at all costs. Edit…. "You claim publicly that you have done nothing wrong and are not instructed in the administration. Yet, you have put in writing that you will advise your clients to market the estate's property while simultaneously acknowledging my sister's beneficial interest. Rothera Bray is fully aware that the extracted grant does not match the true ownership of the property. As officers of the court, solicitors have a fundamental duty of honesty to the court—you cannot facilitate or advise on the marketing of property under a grant you know to be misaligned with true beneficial interests."
