Michaela and the team have been absolutely outstanding throughout our sale and purchase. What could have been a stressful process was made genuinely smooth and straightforward thanks to their clear communication, efficiency, and calm guidance at every stage. Michaela in particular has been amazing: always proactive, always reassuring, and always one step ahead. She kept everything moving, explained things in a way that made sense, and made us feel completely supported from start to finish. At no point did we feel as though the sale of our bungalow was important when we called the person always had to review notes which suggested very little care or attention was given to us as clients. Very little advice or support given when completing very detailed complex forms or when replying to questions asked by the buyers solicitors in truth we felt our particular solicitor did very little. Even worse my elderly mother on receiving the final bill would have been conned out of £800 due to price increase which happened after agreeing to use this firm service were applied and had my mother not been receiving my support wouldn't have challenged this unexplained increase compared to the original price agreed. No apology with the correct revised bill just a generic statement stating every efforts made to ensure the billed amounts are correct yet advising us the customer to check and report any discrepancies. Due to my mother's age right from the beginning her wishes were possibly to communicate vier the phone or mail was clearly and explicitly shared yet on multiple occasions I had to remind the names solicitor a first point of contact which in the end turned out to be the only person handling my mother's sale so be warned whilst you might agree to work with this firm based off a very polite professional and helpful conversation with Jasper or similar more senior member of staff if your services can be passed to a less senior staff member with less experience it likely will be, never hearing from the original person at all. Advice if communication is important to you, assurity the price agreed will only change if the services required change and to trust you or a loved one won't be over charged considerably I'd use a different firm. The sale went ahead everything happened eventually but the quality of service provided fell short of our expectations.
