Risdons have completed the conveyancing of two flats which are sold as leasehold. I had not realised how complex such a sale could be, especially with a buyer's solicitor who raised every possible problem. I was impressed by the solicitor's calm way of handling everything, and by their very modest fees.

Selling an old leasehold flat in a conservation area is not straight forward but Risdon's did a great job of overcoming the difficulties .
They have dealt with the sale of our house and subsequent purchase (multiple of which due to transactions falling through). They have been pro-active, effective, with good attention to detail. They have also been understanding and supportive where our purchases have fallen through. Cannot recommend highly enough.

There's an old Somerset saying 'Never use Risdons' this bore truth on our recent sale of Laburnum Cottage. When all documents have been provided 2 months prior to enable a transfer, Risdons managed to avoid doing anything until the very last minute even though they had been told there was an urgent need to get the completion done. Somehow they lost one half of an electronic document and blamed the other solicitors. Then lied that the other solicitor was holding them up. NEVER USE RISDONS

I used Risdons to buy some woodland, it was a very last moment affair which Risdons Taunton office agreed to take on for me. They made the process a pleasure, it felt open honest & personal... the lady who dealt with me was so efficient & i could not be more grateful, they will absoloutely be my first go to should i need....
