Over the past 45 years the firm has grown from a one man band to what is now a large regional law firm employing over 230 staff across 17 offices throughout Yorkshire. We offer the broadest suite of legal services in the region and are very much embedded in the communities in which we have offices. Whilst some of the growth has been facilitated through acquiring other smaller firms, most has been organic as a consequence of clients recommending us or returning for additional services.

I cannot recommend Ison Harrison highly enough. They have been incredibly caring, understanding and supportive throughout my claim, making what could have been a very difficult process feel much smoother and more manageable. I would highly recommend Simon Helliwell. After I was run over on a zebra crossing by an elderly driver, suffering serious shoulder injuries, Simon took the time to fully understand what had happened and explained the legal process clearly from the outset. Throughout my claim, Simon was always quick to respond to emails and messages, keeping me updated and answering any questions promptly. His communication was excellent and I always felt informed about the progress of my case. Most importantly, Simon worked hard to negotiate the best possible outcome for my claim. I made a claim through Ison Harrison for injuries incurred as a result of pedestrian road collision on a no win/no fee basis. Tracey Stringer dealt with my case and was efficient and helpful throughout the process, even paying a home visit on one occasion. She calculated her fees very fairly and honourably ensuring I received 90% rather than 75% of the award. Should I need legal assistance in the future I would happily use the services of Ison Harrison and particularly rely on the advice of Tracey Stringer.

Sophie Kendall from their Middlesbrough branch was handling my personal injuries claim with CICA. It was not straightforward as CICA took about 18 months to finally settle it and tried to even say that I was not eligible for a payout. However throughout the whole process Sophie remained very professional and helpful and kept me updated whenever CICA gave her an update. Contacted ison harrisons after a bad experience with another law firm. From the moment i contacted them i got the impression they knew what they were doing! What had taken another firm 8 months (and no resolution) took michelle 3 months from start to finish and i couldnt be any more grateful. She was always prompt with replies and kept me updated with what was happening and what was next.
