Louisa at Leathes Prior has the most amazing patience when dealing with a very difficult and misogynistic notary who took over 4 years to do a simple process. I can't recommend Louisa and Leathes Prior highly enough, I have also had my will written there which proved to be complex due to a combined and extended family and inheritance planning is the next issue to be sorted by Louisa

I had Ellie Davies represent me in a family court manner involving contact arrangements for my daughter. My ex partner had a dispute with me over taking my daughter on holiday and tried to place a prohibitive steps order preventing me seeing my child. Ellie was professional, approachable and supportive throughout the process. She explained my options at court, drafted several documents which really took the spirit of what I was trying to say but written in a far more professional manner than I was able to. Ellie was concise and articulate in court, ultimately gaining me an extended contact period with my daughter and securing a court ruling allowing me to take my daughter on holiday. I would recommend Ellie to anyone involved in a family court matter.

Simon Willis has represented myself twice in a fairly nasty and complicated family court matter. I found Simon very calm, very knowledgable, very realistic and very supportive. I was given sound legal advice that enabled me to understand the family court process. Simon was very fair and polite in his correspondence to my ex partner and calmed an emotionally charged situation very professionally. I was successful in my court hearing at gaining greater access and contact with my daughter. This was primarily down to Simon and his team. I would highly recommend Simon Willis to anybody wanting practical and pragmatic legal representation.

Simon and Ellie provided excellent support and professional advice, in what was a very difficult, uncertain and highly charged process. They were extremely responsive to any queries that I had, making time to speak to me in person, over the phone or via e-mail – communication of my choosing. The family court process is very difficult to navigate and is somewhat unpredictable. I appreciated that any set deadlines were well managed and I was given ample time in conjunction with their advice to prepare statements and be ready for each new development that took place. There was no point during the process at which I felt unprepared and this was as a direct result of their advice and effort. In addition to what was always an honest opinion and view point, both Simon and Ellie assisted greatly in supporting me emotionally. I am very grateful for all their work.

I contacted Matthew in regards to traffic issue after I was given his name by a friend that recommended him to me, this was the best decision I could have made, Matthew will not only do everything he can within his power to get a positive outcome, he is also quite prepared to try something new, go above and beyond and think outside of the box to get a result, his positive proactive approach made the difference and I couldn’t ask for more, plus he is a nice chap too, he will listen and give you honest advice. Recommend Leathes Prior greatly. I used LP for a house sale previously and most recently to complete my Fathers probate and Will trusts. Jordan Walker completed the work for me and explained the whole process with great detail and in a way that was easy to understand. I was kept informed the whole way through and I never had to chase for any information or updates. The whole process which did have unusual complications was completed quickly and efficiently.
