They genuinely understand different facets of the law - even if your claim may be ordinarily time barred there may be a way forwards in some cases. As long as you prepare your documents well and point out to the solicitors where are the potential issues as well as argument points they can give a good strategy. Perhaps maybe things should be summarised a bit more? But not much time was used on fee structures - it would be best to settle part of that before the initial or further consultations.

This was my first experience of this firm of property lawyers who were recommended to my by my estate agents. I found the service to be excellent from start to finish. The conveyancing process was very clearly explained, I was fully informed at each stage and nothing appeared to be too much trouble for the team. The transaction was to be completed in a short time frame and the firm ensured that we had provided all of the necessary information and issued a draft sale contract to the buyer's solicitors very quickly. I was able to provide all necessary documentation to the firm electronically (except the Transfer requiring my signature) and was able to keep track of the transaction through an online reporting system that was very easy to use. The completion was delayed for one reason or another from the buyer's side but Fiona in particular was excellent in pushing the transaction forward and keeping me regularly informed throughout a rather frustrating time. I would not hesitate to recommend this firm and will use them again as and when the opportunity arises. The fees were competitively priced and felt very reasonable for the level of service received.
