We received fantastic service from start to finish. Both Sarah and Lucy (McDonald) were wonderful and lead us through the will writing process with ease. Sarah provided us with additional information that would also help protect our assets which was very much appreciated. It was all very simple and easy to understand. We will definitely be coming back to Ison Harrison if we have any further legal issues we need help with. We couldn’t have asked for better service. We also appreciated the flexibility they provided by arranging to visit us at home. It made it much easier for me as I struggle with mobility.

She explained things in simple terms for my elderly mum, which was much appreciated. Thank you for doing a great job Sarah, I would highly recommend this company of solicitors, excellent service!

If you want fast and efficient! DO NOT USE THIS FIRM! contact and communication is foreign to them. My mother is constantly unable to get in touch or even get a call back from these amateurs! It's been nearly 12 months and no finalisation on an inheritance case, and they have held back the remaining money from her for that long. No doubt just to earn some extra interest before handing it over, as far as I'm aware they have already taken their free but maybe the longer they keep ignoring their client the more they can claim hours from the remaining money! Absolutely incompetent or just greedy. P.s I am not benefiting from the outstanding money, that isn't my incentive. My incentive is for my mother to have this all resolved.

We had been meaning to arrange our wills for a long time and kept putting it off thinking it would be a complicated process. The team at Ison Harrison (Bingley) were amazing and made everything so easy for us. The communication was excellent. Lucy kept in regular contact and was great when I had to rearrange an appointment due to being hospitalised for a short time. They offered a home visit which made it much more convenient for me during recovery. Sarah was very knowledgeable and provided us with a variety of options in order for us to ensure we will be fully protected. We highly recommend both her and the company. Both Sarah and Lucy made us feel at ease and in safe hands.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! In 2022 IH represented my partner in the purchase of her property in York. They made a major mistake, not checking the documents thoroughly enough and showing the due diligence that a legal team should. This is subsequently impacting the sale now, and despite having more than 4 weeks since another solicitor highlighted this error, IH refuse to take any ownership, accountability or show any sign of taking corrective action - this comes direct from one of the Partners (who I shall not yet name). They are causing the delay in sale and purchase, they are creating misery for my partner and I, and 3 children under the age of 10. IH are an embarrassment to the profession. For your own sake, they might be the cheapest (and here's the reason!) but spend a little more and go with a decent and reputable firm. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!
