Wills update
We wished to make some slight changes to our Wills which, incidentally, were prepared by Sills & Betteridge a few years ago. Administration of my late father's will
I would like to express my sincere thanks to Alistair for his professionalism and support in administering my late father's estate. The administration of the will was not always straightforward and there were several challenges along the way, resulting in what was at times a lengthy and complex process. However, when Alistair took over the matter from the original solicitor, he quickly demonstrated a clear understanding of the case and worked diligently to bring the administration to a successful conclusion. Throughout, Alistair was professional, approachable, and responsive, keeping me informed and providing clear advice whenever needed. His calm and pragmatic approach helped navigate a number of difficulties and gave me confidence that the matter was progressing towards resolution. Losing a parent is never easy, and dealing with estate administration can add further stress at an already difficult time. I am grateful for Alistair's dedication and commitment in ensuring the estate was finalised properly. Execution of a will
Alistair Thomson took over from Katherine Proctor to deal with the execution of my husband's will. What follows applies to both of them. I found Katherine very approachable. I had a meeting with her before my husband died. At this time she explained to me what the process would be. She met again with me and I told her what I wished to do myself and what I wanted her to deal with. She was systematic in her approach, always having the necessary documents ready for me. She was always willing to spend time explaining things I did not understand. There was a seamless transition when Alistair took over . He persisted until all the loose ends were tied up. Both were good at keeping me in the picture about what was happening.

Used Sills & Betteridge to write our wills through the Free Wills Network. Alistair Thomson who acted for us was superb. Really helpful and friendly and completed our wills quickly and exactly to our wishes. As it has to be there is a lot of legal jargon involved but everything explained clearly and simply. Gave us lots of very useful advice along the way that we hadn't even thought about. A very professional company that I would highly recommend and if you ask for Alistair you won't regret it. Not many people can make planning for your death an enjoyable experience. Only giving fives stars because I can't give ten.
