I recently required specialist Employment Law advice which needed to be settled in a short space of time. I contacted Emily (for the first time) and after a short telephone conversation documents were exchanged and a meeting was arranged. Emily explained the whole process in a "simple speak" manner and counselled me on my options - her brief and recommendations were thorough and the whole process was expedited extremely quickly - thank you! What was also very refreshing was that Emily was coaching a Law Graduate who sat in on our discussions, I wish the young Lady well in her chosen career path. Due to many contributing factors we had a very long sale process but thankfully we were assigned Karla to manage things for us and she was great. Always contactable and working right to the end of the day and beyond to ensure things kept moving and chasing responses. I told various interested parties the I believed Oliver Williams would be ideal in dealing with our case. I was aware of the normal expectations in dealing with a solicitor, but I hoped for a bit of simple communication and explanation. Oliver Williams exceeded my expectations! Oliver Williams made the choice himself, to use additional communication via the telephone and not just rely email exchanges. Olivers professional approach was aided by his demeanour of listening, entering discussions and explanations of several stages to obtain the required objective. We recently completed our new-build home purchase with Herrington Carmichael, and we cannot recommend them highly enough. Our transaction was entirely self-funded and involved several complex stages—from rigorous compliance and source of funds checks to last-minute boundary plan amendments (amended TP1) from the developer's side. Throughout the entire journey, the conveyancing team provided absolute peace of mind. A very special, heartfelt thank you goes to Gabrielle Tague. Gabrielle was truly exceptional. What impressed us most was how she consistently looked out for our best interests as buyers. When an unexpected boundary modification arose right before exchange, Gabrielle proactively called us and advised waiting for the updated Land Registry search results rather than rushing into an exchange blindly.
