Rebbeca from start to finish provided an excellent professional service and kept me up to date with the progress of repossession. This route I took using Hewitts Solicitors allowed me to sit back knowing that using a professional service would take the pressure off myself knowing that they had the expertise dealing with this case as I did not want the case to fail if I had dealt with it myself. I would recommend Rebbeca of Hewitts Solicitors as she attended court hearing, dealt with bailiffs locksmith and tenant and provided me with photos showing state of property once they gained access. As a Landlord i had been extremely fair to tenant, I felt they didn’t care about damage and state of property and never showed any respect, so I’m glad that I used Hewitts to get my property back asap such that I could sell up and no longer be a private landlord, had enough of other peoples problems.

I was disappointed with the level of communication I received from Hewitts during my home-buying process. The lack of timely updates and proactive communication contributed to an avoidable overlap between my existing tenancy and my new home, resulting in additional financial costs. During my home demonstration on 12 September 2026, the developer informed me that the completion notice had been sent to Hewitts on 3 September 2026. This was particularly disappointing because I had contacted the firm on the same day to request an update on my expected completion date, yet this important information was not communicated to me in a timely manner. With better communication and earlier notification, I would have had a greater opportunity to coordinate my rental notice period with the completion date and minimise the additional costs associated with paying rent while preparing to move into my new home. I understand that conveyancing involves multiple parties and that some delays may be beyond a solicitor’s control. However, keeping clients informed of important developments is a fundamental part of the service. I expected a more proactive approach, particularly given the significant financial implications of coordinating a property purchase and a move. Overall, this experience was frustrating and costly. I believe better communication could have helped avoid or minimise the financial impact. I hope Hewitts takes this feedback seriously and uses it to improve its communication and client service for future homebuyers.
