Something I had put off for ages however the experience at Russell and Russell was very good. At the outset, professional, empathetic around my concerns and given clear and concise advice. The outcome was peace of mind knowing my wishes were listened to, respected and recorded so that my son would find everything easy to understand. From speaking to reception with Ruth to discussing my requirements of your services with Nicky I felt very comfortable. I didn't have to wait long, all my needs were met within 7 to 10 days. I wasn't rushed through and Nicky was very thorough in making sure I understood all we discussed, gave me time and my paperwork there and then. I met Ruth, Nicky and Jessica and was very impressed. We had the pleasure of working with Janine Naylor, Claire Holding and Zoe Harryman's wider team throughout our sale and purchase. The process was particularly challenging due to the complex property chain and the strange requirements from various solicitors, especially with the looming stamp duty changes. Janine handled the very challenging buyers' solicitors' requirements with remarkable skill, negotiating the best approach on our behalf and ensuring everything proceeded smoothly. Janine was incredibly responsive, creative, and diligent in resolving issues that arose, providing us with all the information we needed to make informed decisions about the costs involved and what we should negotiate with the other parties. Her professionalism and commitment ensured that we completed just in time, and we’re so grateful for her efforts. We highly recommend her services and would not hesitate to work with her again. Absolute shocking service- I strees di not use these solicitors - soul destroying waste of timers! No contact for weeks at a time- unprofessional- unhelpful- dwindled the time down and moved the goal posts at every opportunity until time ran out.

Russell and Russell were without a doubt the worse solicitors I've used to re-mortgage, their communication was non existent and the mortgage was dragged out so long we had to request the lender to extend the offer despite me emailing the solicitors several times asking what else they needed.
They left everything to the last second.

I’ve had a bloody nightmare with buying my first ever property. Every possible outside force that could prevent the sale happening, happened. But throughout all of that, Russell & Russell have been there. They are friendly and proactive, very responsive and always kept me updated about progress. Zoe Harryman and her assistant Victoria were superstars (friendly and reassuring beyond words), and lots of people stepped in to help along the way - Jack, Catherine and Claire. Thank you to all involved helping make my nightmare home buying experience a lot less painful than it could have been. You’re all welcome to come over for welcome cocktails.
