As a Landlord, I have used Russell&Russell Solicitors for a number of years for sales and purchases of properties including our own house moves. A previous colleague, Colin McWilliams and latterly Louise Simons have both been the most excellent solicitors to deal with in what is often a very stressful process.I found Russell&Russell via a conveyancing solicitor web-search. Not only were they very competitively priced but, conveniently, were based close to home. Louise, has a great backup up team and Louise or one of her colleagues kept me updated regularly. It is also very easy to speak directly with Louise about any matters of concern; she is very professional and courteous and acts quickly. I will continue to recommend Russell&Russell and thank Loise for another succesful transaction.

Lousie was brilliant!

I could not be more impressed with the service received from Louise and team at Russell & Russell. Communication was excellent right from the first phone call until the completion of the mortgage. At no point did I felt I needed to prompt them for action, it was all completed effectively and proactively and I was always kept in the loop. Louise really did make our self-build mortgage an absolute breeze. Thank you!

My faith in conveyancers has been restored! Highly recommended

I was pleasantly surprised by the high level of professionalism, diligence, efficiency and responsiveness that Russell & Russell Solicitors displayed throughout the execution of my case from the outset to successful completion. They stand in stark contrast to the previous solicitors I'd dealt with concerning a property sale. To say it was a night-and-day difference between them would be a severe understatement.

I would like to especially commend my case handlers Anna Lewis and Richard Querelle for their expertise, competence and friendliness. They are true professionals, always ready to respond to calls and emails with clear, timely information and very reliable in deftly handling and swiftly resolving any hurdles that emerged.

I would highly recommend this firm to anyone in the market for top-class, professional solicitors in whom you can place your trust and confidence to successfully manage your property sale. I, for one, have encountered none better. Well worth the asking fee.

From the very beginning I was treated like a friend, as well as a client. I've bought and sold properties a few times, and I only wish I'd known about Russell & Russell before. They came recommended, and I can very honestly see why. My conveyancer, Eileen Leadbetter, was amazing. Every interaction was insightful and timely, and I never felt like I didn't know what was happening. From start to finish, Eileen was courteous, kept me up to date with key information and timings and she was a pleasure to speak with on a personal level. I'd like to express my thanks to her and her colleagues including Karen Woods, Susan C. Johnson and Russell & Russell as a business.

I’ve used Russell & Russell multiple times over the years and have recently used again for the legals on a property sale and purchase. They have always had great communication and are very efficient. I really value being able to pick up the phone and speak directly to my solicitor when required, having said this the whole team I deal with are second to none. I would highly recommend.

Totally smooth process when buying a house.

I found Lucy to be extremely helpful and thoroughly efficient when dealing with my case. Buying a house has always seemed daunting, but she was very quick in coming back to me on any enquiries. Fantastic service from all at Russell and Russell, the second time we have used their services. They were so professional, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They made the process so smooth and easy. We were informed about progress and the next steps and kept constantly informed. Emails were answered immediately and answers to questions we asked found out straight away. They took the stress out of buying a house and were so enthusiastic and genuinely please for us when we got our dream property. Even as panel solicitors go, Russell & Russell are pretty hopeless. They clearly have far more important matters to attend to, than responding to your email or phone call. Very misleading and disorganised. Just terrible service. Don't say I didn't warn you...
