      A win for the good guys

      My family has recently been embroiled in what I can only politely call a fraudulent business practice. In addition to losing a significant amount of money we were being taken to court for non payments in relation to the less than above board dealings. Biscoes were already helping with another family matter and we asked if thy had a claims team. Micah Hall was appointed and we had an initial meeting in which he agreed to represent us. All of our dealing with Micah and the team have been excellent. He communicates in an accessible low jargon way ensuring you understand what is happening. He has been available, unwaveringly open and honest in his communication, diligent and understanding. He has also been incredibly assertive in his view that we had a strong case and shouldn't back down. We won our case convincingly and it has been a great comfort to have him in our corner in what has been a difficult time. If you need help in a case where you feel you are being unfairly treated I could not recommend Micah and the team at Biscoes any more highly.

      The value was surprisng

      I went in for mortgage personal guarantee work. This is something that makes me quite jaded because, for residential, it is now a very expensive rubber-stamp process for me. A necessary evil. This particular work was a mixed-use purchase, however. It had some nuance in the terms I didn't pick up. Lora made me focus on some clauses that gave me concern, and I refused to sign as a result. Lora said I could come back for free if the specific issue was resolved, which was a pleasant surprise. After asking the lender to change, I ultimately backed out of the purchase altogether. Laura's input was key to this, and therefore her contribution was very valuable to me. The consultation was good value.
